Located in Colorado, the Desert Prison is renowned as the most secure prison in the United States, housing some of the most vicious and dangerous criminals. Of course, this is certainly true for ordinary people.
Felicia's father, Walter Hardy, was incarcerated in this prison after being captured, and he passed away six months later due to illness. This "illness" is worth noting; at the time, Felicia did not discern the true cause of her father's death.
With the deceased long gone and the body cremated long ago, it was impossible to seek evidence through an autopsy report.
Thus, the most straightforward approach was to investigate what had actually happened to Walter inside the prison.
Of course, infiltrating secretly was an option, but to avoid complications, Shasha decided to disguise herself as a convict.
After sharing her plan with Felicia, the girl hesitated. "Isn't that too risky?"
"The one taking the risk is me, not you. Why are you worried?" Shasha couldn't help but laugh.
Felicia felt a surge of gratitude; she hadn't expected Shasha to take such risks for her sake.
Seeing Felicia's appreciative expression, Shasha waved her hand dismissively. "Just think of it as a transaction. Besides, you won't be idle outside the prison. I need you to find out who your father came into contact with while he was inside."
Although Felicia wasn't an intelligence expert, as a skilled thief and burglar, gathering useful information wouldn't be too difficult for her. After pondering for a moment, she replied, "I'll get the information to you in two days."
Shasha nodded but was about to say something else when she noticed Felicia had already turned and left in a hurry. She swallowed her words and shook her head with a wry smile. "This girl never waits for anyone to finish speaking."
After bidding farewell to Felicia, Shasha began contemplating another matter: infiltrating the prison was no simple task. She needed to forge an identity that would allow her to be classified among those held at Desert Prison.
Thus, Shasha inquired with the System about any means to alter her appearance and physique.
"Second Identity: 1000 Energy Points required; can change host's physique and appearance."
Seeing the cost of 1000 Energy Points made Shasha's mouth twitch. She had just spent all her points on a suit but managed to earn another 1000 points by completing a task, so she wasn't completely empty-handed.
Who would have thought that one item would require spending her remaining Energy Points? It felt as if the System was calculating her available Energy Points just to recommend items, leaving her speechless.
Grinding his teeth, he reluctantly chose to exchange. A pill appeared in Shasha's palm. After a moment's thought, he swallowed it, and instantly a scene resembling character creation in an RPG game unfolded in his mind.
This moment stirred something within Shasha, and a name popped into his head.
With a squeeze of his hands, a template of a tall, muscular man with striking features and a charmingly sinister aura emerged—a blonde Caucasian male.
Indeed, this figure was Liquid Snake, undoubtedly the most charismatic villain in Metal Gear.
After confirming the character creation, he avoided the surveillance and made his way to the restroom. In an instant, his appearance transformed into that of Liquid Snake. Even the keenest observers would struggle to recognize that this new visage belonged to Shasha.
With a new identity established, it was time to create some crimes. Shasha hesitated; after all, he had no idea whether this would lower his Reputation Points.
However, the System reassured him: "The second identity belongs to the host's new persona and will not affect abilities or Reputation."
Hearing this, Shasha let out a sigh of relief, though doubts still lingered in his mind without him knowing why.
For now, he decided not to dwell on these thoughts and waited for Felicia to deliver the intelligence data. During this waiting period, he kept busy—besides taking on the role of the Grim Reaper to eliminate evil, he pondered how to manufacture some crimes.
After much contemplation, Shasha set his sights on Spider-Man.
What could quickly signal that he was a villain without threatening public interests?
It would be opposing a superhero!
That night, as usual, a figure prowled through the skies above New York City. His compound eyes scanned the streets below, striving to minimize crime.
Spider-Man's presence not only thrilled the public but also sparked discussions about superheroes online.
Many believed that Spider-Man was more meticulous than the Grim Reaper and could better embody the Dark Knight protecting the public, while the Grim Reaper primarily targeted criminals who posed significant threats to society.
As a result, Spider-Man seemed to win more hearts. Consequently, many clamored that there was no need for the Grim Reaper's intervention; Spider-Man alone was sufficient.
Of course, such actions drew the ire of the Underworld faction, and both sides began a war of words online.
Rational voices urged them not to argue, after all, both parties were serving Public safety. However, those who were already red with anger would not heed such advice and instead dragged others into the fray.
As time went on, no one cared anymore, and the verbal battle escalated. It was not hard for observant individuals to see that some were fanning the flames, yet no one pointed it out; perhaps they were eager to witness the clash between two heroes!
What they never expected was that Batman and the Underworld would engage in combat in another way.
Peter had never imagined he would encounter such a formidable opponent. Just moments ago, he had rescued a passerby from a robbery when a towering figure blocked his path and attacked him without a word.
Although Peter was agile, this guy seemed to react even faster than him, and his skills were beyond what Peter could currently match. After a brief exchange, Peter found himself gradually falling behind.
As their confrontation grew louder, it began to attract the attention of passersby who noticed the commotion in the alley.
