Tock was the first to leave the private room, feeling somewhat dazed as he did. Once just a gang leader, he had never dreamed that the current boss would invite him to help bring down the underground emperor. 0

In the past, if someone had spoken to him like that, Tock would have scoffed and immediately killed them, sending their remains to Jin Bing as a show of loyalty. But now, the person saying this was Shasha, and suddenly he felt there might be a chance. 0

Since he had already decided to go through with it, he might as well see it through to the end. Who knew if they could actually achieve it? 0

Thinking about his future, where he would be above everyone else, Tock's heart burned with excitement. 0

It turned out that desire was the root of all motivation, capable of turning timid people into the brave. 0

Inside the room, Frank had not yet left. Shasha poured two glasses of vodka, sliding one in front of Frank while keeping one for herself. "Tock may lack ability, but he is loyal and has a knack for managing his subordinates. If we take over Jin Bing's territory in the future, I will need him to help stabilize those we recruit. And you, Frank, as the vanguard, I need you to directly crush Jin Bing's armed forces. Once he loses those forces, he'll be like a tiger without claws." 0

Frank smirked at her words. "Gladly!" 0

As an assassin for underground forces, Frank had never held any affection for gangsters and dealt with them in extremely violent ways. Now that such an opportunity lay before him, he was eager to make a significant impact and perhaps call on some old associates. 0

Shasha nodded; some things were best left unsaid. After Frank left, she slowly sipped her drink and was about to leave when she heard a commotion outside the door. 0

Frowning, she pushed open the door and saw several security guards beating up a drunken man. 0

"This guy has come here countless times without paying; he's not allowed back anymore!" 0

"If you show up again, we'll beat you every time!" 0

After tiring themselves out, the guards dispersed. However, Shasha heard the drunk man let out a self-deprecating and nervous laugh—his voice sounded familiar. She couldn't help but walk closer to him. 0

His features were recognizable; she had definitely seen him before. 0

As Shasha took a closer look, her heart skipped a beat. She covered the area above his nose with her hands, and his expression changed instantly as he recognized her identity. 0

Target Eye! 0

Jin Bing, once the number one assassin, had thought he was dead at his own hands, only to discover he was still alive. 0

Looking at him now, he seemed to have become a shell of his former self; otherwise, how could a few security guards have beaten him so easily? 0

Life was unpredictable. Who would have thought that someone who once basked in glory could fall to such depths? This proved that Jin Bing was indeed a cold-blooded individual. How ironic that Target Eye had once contributed greatly to him, yet now he discarded him like trash without a second thought—such was the harshness of reality. 0

Frowning at the unconscious Target Eye, Shasha contemplated for a moment before slowly lifting him up. 0

Though Target Eye had committed countless wrongs, he was ultimately a person who did not shy away from significant matters. During the climactic battle between the Earth Alliance and the Skrulls in Central Park, as the event "Secret Invasion" reached its conclusion, Target Eye had quietly climbed a tree after retrieving a portable rocket launcher from the Zeus spaceship. He first aimed at Spider-Man, who was fighting valiantly against the Skrulls, making sound effects like "bang bang" as if mimicking rocket impacts. In a split second, the giant fake Hank Pym—Kurtis Nol of the Skrulls—was struck and lost his right eye. This showed that even in critical moments concerning humanity's fate, Target Eye did not solely consider personal interests. 0

Thus, although this guy opposed superheroes, he wasn't entirely devoid of principles. Despite his madness, he could become an unstoppable weapon if utilized correctly. 0

In the comics, this guy had his spine broken by Daredevil; in reality, he nearly exploded his own heart. Fortunately, his heart was different from ordinary people's; otherwise, he would have died long ago. However, his nervous system blockage led to chaos in his spinal nerves, resulting in difficulty walking—essentially a spinal issue. 0

Reflecting on his misfortunes, Shasha recalled that he had been treated by a scientist from the Japanese Yamaguchi-gumi gang using Adamantium to replace his spine. That scientist was named Yamashita Kenji and was known as the Dark Wind Lord. 0

In the hotel room, Target Eye slowly regained consciousness and realized he wasn't lying in a stinky alley filled with rats but rather on a comfortable bed. Beside him lay a sumptuous meal and a bottle of his favorite whiskey. 0

Instinctively, Target Eye wanted to get up and leave; he wasn't someone who liked accepting charity from others. 0

Just as he was about to rise, an unfamiliar voice spoke up. "You can finish your meal before leaving. I'm not pitying you; consider it my help. You can repay me when you have the means in the future." 0

Following the reputation trail, Target Eye saw Shasha's second identity: Liquid Snake. After hearing her words, he fell silent for a moment before scoffing. "I hate owing people favors more than anything else. But since you helped me, I'll remember you!" 0

With that, he began to eat ravenously as if he hadn't had a proper meal in ages. 0

After satisfying his hunger and thirst, Target Eye slowly got out of bed. His steps were slightly unsteady and trembling as he approached Shasha and looked directly at her. "I only kill people. If you treat me to a meal, I'll help you kill someone!" 0

Looking at Target Eye's current state, it seemed unlikely he'd be able to kill anyone; walking itself appeared difficult for him. Yet Shasha did not judge him for this; even if he was physically impaired or had fallen from grace, an assassin remained an assassin and would not change because of circumstances. 0

Gazing seriously into Target Eye's eyes, Shasha slowly spoke up. "The person I want to kill is Jin Bing." 0

Target Eye narrowed his pupils, a flicker of intense hatred in his gaze. He did not resent Shasha for injuring him; they were rivals, after all, locked in a life-and-death struggle. However, everything Jin Bing had done to him was etched in his heart. If it weren't for his endless physical limitations, he would have long succumbed to his inner fury and sought out Jin Bing for a fight to the death. 0

"What do you want me to do?" Target Eye was a clever man. Upon hearing Shasha's words, he understood that Shasha was aware of his identity. Even if he was being used, as long as it was against Jin Bing, he was willing to comply. 0

"You don't need to do anything. I will handle it; you can repay your debt to me later," Shasha waved his hand dismissively. His previous statement was double-edged: one, he acknowledged knowing Target Eye's identity; two, he intended to deal with Jin Bing, so there was no need for Target Eye to intervene since he was currently powerless. 0

Upon hearing this, Target Eye was taken aback and slowly left the room without saying a word. 0

Throughout the encounter, Shasha had not attempted to obstruct him in any way. 0

As Target Eye exited Shasha's room, his expression shifted continuously. Although he had only shared a meal, he felt the goodwill and sincerity emanating from Shasha. Moreover, considering that he aimed to confront Jin Bing, it was clear that facing him alone would be futile. 0

Ultimately, he gritted his teeth and resolutely turned back to reopen the door he had just left. 0
