How are Shasha and Natasha's infiltration abilities? While Natasha's qualifications as a Tenth Level Agent are often touted, Shasha, possessing the capabilities of Liquid Snake, is on a different level altogether. In certain aspects, she surpasses what a Tenth Level Agent can achieve. It's worth noting that Liquid Snake's primary strength lies not in infiltration but in combat.
The two split up to search for Tony's whereabouts. Shasha concealed herself behind a tent and, when someone passed by, swiftly broke the man's neck with a single hand. She never showed mercy to these individuals.
Natasha couldn't help but think the same way as Shasha; both preferred to deal with enemies by snapping their necks. In their eyes, allowing these people to live was a cruelty to others; only in death could they be considered the best versions of themselves.
As they searched through the tents, they found no clues regarding Tony.
Recalling scenes from movies in her past life, it seemed he was imprisoned in a cave.
Shasha scanned the area and soon fixed her gaze on a cave entrance about a hundred meters away, heavily guarded by several individuals.
To avoid alerting anyone, Shasha gestured for Natasha to stay still and then signaled her to distract the guards.
Understanding Shasha's intent quickly, Natasha crouched low and maneuvered around the tent area to reach the hills behind the cave.
A small stone made a sound, causing several guards to turn around. They pulled out silenced pistols provided by S.H.I.E.L.D. and fired five shots in rapid succession, each bullet finding its mark in the necks of the five men almost instantaneously.
As one of the guards fell and was about to shout, another faint gunshot rang out from above.
In an instant, a group of ten guards was dismantled. Seizing the opportunity, Shasha rushed into the cave while Natasha leaped down from the hills to keep watch. Their first collaboration was impressively seamless.
Upon entering the cave, they found more guards inside; it had been transformed into a makeshift prison. Without alerting the prisoners, they took out the guards with surprising ease.
Without exception, they snapped necks, leaving those unfortunate souls unaware of what had just happened.
Finally, deep within the cave, Shasha spotted two busy figures—one young and one older—working on a full-body steel armor made from scrap metal.
A cough startled them both. They turned simultaneously to see a young man with an attractive beard looking surprised. "It's you?" he exclaimed.
Shasha paused for a moment before seeing his expression shift to excitement. "You're here to rescue me, right? That's great!"
Suppressing her inner doubts, Shasha nodded firmly. "You need to come with me quickly and try not to alert anyone else."
Tony felt a surge of joy at the words, but then hesitated as if remembering something.
Seeing this, Shasha frowned. Noticing his gaze flicker towards the set of armor, she coldly stated, "If you can forge the first set, you can forge a second. You better think carefully about what's more important: that armor or your lives!"
Tony ultimately gritted his teeth and nodded. In the past, if someone had dared to speak to him like that, he wouldn't have cared whether they were there to save him or not. Clearly, a recent turn of events had changed his former character.
As they left the cave, Natasha, who was guarding the entrance, couldn't help but smile when she saw them emerge successfully.
Taking advantage of the moment when no one was paying attention, the four quickly evacuated the area. Just as they reached the vehicle, Shasha suddenly said, "You all go ahead. I'll take care of those guys to prevent any future troubles!"
Natasha opened her mouth to speak but instead nodded silently and led Tony and Yinsen away.
Seeing this, Shasha chuckled lightly; once you have a moment of understanding with someone, it becomes easy to cultivate that rapport.
In the car, Tony kept glancing back with a mix of surprise and concern. "Is that guy going to be okay on his own?"
"He's more than enough by himself," Natasha replied calmly as she drove. She showed no concern for Shasha's safety because she knew that those terrorists wouldn't be able to harm him. If it weren't for saving Tony, he would have likely gone on a rampage already.
Noticing Natasha's confidence, Tony shrugged. Since his companions weren't worried, what did he have to be concerned about?
At that moment, Shasha returned, slowly drawing his sword as he boldly entered the tent area alone.
This time, he made no effort to conceal himself and was quickly spotted by the terrorists. An alarm rang out as several armed men rushed out of their tents, and gunfire erupted almost immediately.
The terrorists initially thought it would be an easy target to shoot down a single person. However, after firing their bullets, they were left stunned and wide-eyed.
Shasha wielded his sword like a silver serpent; bullets either shattered mid-air or were cleaved in half by the blade. As he advanced closer, the gunfire became sparse until he let out a fierce shout and plunged his sword into the ground with tremendous force.
In the next moment, the earth shook violently as a deep chasm split open from where his sword struck. The intense tremors made it impossible for them to stand; as the ground quaked more violently, their legs and bodies began to numb while their teeth chattered and every bone felt like it was creaking.
With a loud thud,
one terrorist collapsed as if turned to mush. One after another, they fell like dominoes until none remained standing except for Shasha. Only then did he slowly sheath his sword.
Looking at the camp that had been completely reduced to ruins, Shasha waved her sleeve and slowly turned to leave.
After a long while, this desolate camp welcomed new visitors. When a middle-aged man with a bald head saw the scene before him, his pupils constricted sharply. He quickly walked over to a disfigured corpse and, gazing at the face that was barely recognizable, he couldn't help but frown deeply.
After a moment, he sighed. A bespectacled assistant stepped forward and whispered, "Boss, I'm afraid it's Tony..."
The middle-aged man waved his hand, signaling him to stop. After a pause, he looked around and noticed the only cave that had not collapsed.
He slowly entered the interior, ignoring the groans of the prisoners around him until he reached the final laboratory.
"What is this?" Looking at the full-body armor before him, a glimmer of excitement flashed in his eyes. "Although you escaped, what you created has fallen into my hands."
If Tony were here, he would likely realize who was behind all of this. After all, he had never doubted his father's friend, who was also the uncle that had watched him grow up—Obadiah Stane.
