Charles couldn't help but feel a sense of admiration for Shasha's understanding nature. As they conversed while waiting for Li Qianhuan's examination results, Charles brought up Magneto, which piqued Shasha's interest. "Recently, Max has been acting strangely. He only sent his subordinate, Saber-Toothed Tiger, out once and hasn't heard any news about the Brotherhood since. Knowing him, he must be plotting something significant in the shadows. Moreover, this must be related to the girl that Liquid Snake took away last time."
Upon hearing her name mentioned, Shasha raised an eyebrow. It was indeed connected to her. Now that Magneto had lost the Rakshasi, how would he activate the gene modifier? Had he found a replacement?
"Samal, there's something I hope to ask for your help with," Charles said after a moment of hesitation, a wry smile on his face.
Understanding that Charles was hesitant due to previous matters, Shasha nodded. "As long as it's something I can do, I won't refuse. It's still the same principle—business is business."
Charles sighed in relief. "Here's the thing: I know you have extensive connections in New York, so I hope you can help me investigate where the girl taken by Liquid Snake is now. Only by ensuring her safety can we thwart Max's schemes."
Shasha wanted to tell Charles that Anna was absolutely safe, but it was clear that wasn't an option. He could only nod in agreement. "No problem; I'll keep an eye on this matter for you."
Before long, Aurora returned to the office and updated them on Li Qianhuan's condition.
It turned out that time flowed slowly in the crevice, so Li Qianhuan had not suffered from dehydration or extreme hunger; she had merely fallen into a brief coma due to being in a dark corner for an extended period. With some time to recuperate, she would be fine.
Hearing this news, Shasha finally felt relieved and stood up to take his leave.
Before departing, Shasha shared his contact information with Aurora, instructing her to notify him immediately if anything happened to Li Qianhuan. After completing this task, he returned to New York City.
With one concern resolved, his mood lifted significantly. Although the process had been somewhat convoluted, the outcome was pleasing.
At this moment, a good sleep was what he needed most; other matters could wait for later understanding.
Just as Shasha fell into a deep slumber, an event of moderate significance unfolded in New York—the 'death' of the villain Green Goblin.
Exposing his identity, he attempted to kill Peter with the aircraft, only to be 'accidentally killed' by it instead.
This brought a temporary end to Peter's troubles, but no one knew that the body of Norman Osborn had quietly vanished from the morgue. Meanwhile, Harry Osborn, who was consumed by the pain and hatred of having killed his best friend's father, discovered his father's secret and chose to become the second Green Goblin.
At the same time, Ivan Vanko arrived in New York under the arrangement of a mysterious figure. Additionally, Thor broke into the restricted area of his hammer and was arrested by S.H.I.E.L.D.
It was a restless night, one that would shift the trajectory of the world and correct its course.
Half-awake, the roar of a motorcycle echoed closer and closer until it zipped past her ear, followed by the sound of shattering glass that jolted Shasha awake.
Wearing her pajamas, she looked at the glass of her home, which bore marks as if it had been crushed and burned by tires. Shasha couldn't help but twitch her lips.
Who would have thought that the Evil Spirit Knight riding vertically on a motorcycle would crash into her building? Was this some kind of misfortune? And soon those police officers would be arriving—how could she possibly sleep?
Filled with resentment, Shasha transformed into Liquid Snake and took the elevator to the top floor. Just as she arrived, she witnessed the Evil Spirit Knight defeating Wind Demon while Heartless Demon retreated. A Black Hawk Helicopter flew in to subdue him.
Once the Evil Spirit Knight dealt with the helicopter, footsteps echoed behind Shasha in the hallway. A smirk crept onto his face as he unleashed Vibration silently, knocking out all the police officers in the corridor like a wave of Conqueror's Haki.
Sensing the surge of power, the Evil Spirit Knight turned to Shasha. Having just defeated Wind Demon, he awakened the spirit of wrath within him, Zatannos. Raising his fiery arm towards Shasha, he coldly declared in a deep voice, "You are guilty!"
In an instant, his swaying figure appeared before Shasha. The flaming skull head stared at her with hollow eyes as chains engulfed in Hellfire were suddenly swung toward her.
Ducking low, Shasha's right fist enveloped in vibrating energy struck fiercely against the Evil Spirit Knight. He was instantly engulfed in flames and sent flying backward.
In mid-air, the Evil Spirit Knight opened his mouth and let out a roar as balls of Hellfire shot forth directly at Shasha.
Watching the fireballs descend upon her, Shasha stood firm and shouted loudly. The visible ripples expanded outward as each fireball transformed into sparks, raining down like a shower of fire that illuminated half of the sky.
As she landed, the chains slithered like silver serpents. Shasha deftly dodged, while Vibration flickered between reality and illusion, relentlessly pounding the Evil Spirit Knight's body until an opportunity arose.
In an instant, she accelerated, grabbing his jacket with both hands and lifting him off the ground before slamming him down hard. This series of movements swiftly returned the Evil Spirit Knight to his 'original form.'
With the defeat of the Evil Spirit Knight, Shasha had completed nine of her villainous tasks, leaving only one more to finish the main storyline.
However, now was not the time to consider who her next opponent might be.
Looking at the unconscious Johnny Blaze on the ground, Shasha felt a headache coming on. How was she supposed to handle this situation?
Without the powers of the Evil Spirit Knight, Johnny Blaze would likely be taken away by the police rushing in and handed over to government agencies for dissection and research.
Just as Shasha was at a loss, an aged and haunting voice echoed, "Leave him to me."
