Daisy Johnson, known as Quake, is the daughter of Dr. Hyde from British horror lore. She possesses abilities that are enhanced due to her father's genetic legacy, making her mutations stronger than those of typical mutants.
Mutants do not recognize her existence, and after being discovered and brought to light by Nick Fury, she has now become the third Tenth Level Agent, following Fury himself and Natasha. She is one of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s secret weapons.
However, the only headache for Nick is that she does not get along well with the Avengers.
This time, with a suspected alien invasion on the horizon, Nick chose not to deploy the Avengers immediately but instead sent Daisy in as the vanguard. This decision was not only to train her but also to test the waters.
He wanted to understand what this external force's attitude towards Earth was.
The outcome was clear; this alien force seemed to have chosen Earth as its battleground, sending a weapon of such destructive power. Fortunately, it landed in a remote area; had it been deployed in a densely populated city, many lives would have been lost.
Thus, Nick issued an order to destroy the Metal Giant.
However, both Nick and Daisy seemed to underestimate the power of the Destroyer. Its body was made of cosmic alloy that even an Adamantium Giant would struggle to penetrate, let alone with mere fists.
Even though Daisy has seismic abilities, her powers had not yet reached that level of strength.
Just look at how the Destroyer was rendered scrap metal—it was smashed into pieces by Mjolnir, which is forged from the heart of a dead star. Without Odin's divine power and the worthiness required to wield Mjolnir, only someone with infinite strength could lift such an important hammer.
Therefore, if one does not possess Mjolnir's might, it is best not to assume they can defeat the Destroyer.
From a distance, as Daisy battled the Destroyer, Shasha couldn't help but lick her lips; the Destroyer was a treasure. Crafting weapons or armor from its remains would be invaluable.
Just think about how S.H.I.E.L.D. later utilized weapons made from the Destroyer and Tony's armor designed for combat against it.
Thus, Shasha's purpose for coming this time was not only to follow Thor and his companions to Asgard but also to secure the remains of the Destroyer for herself; she did not want S.H.I.E.L.D. to benefit from it without any effort on her part.
As she pondered this, the battle between Daisy and the Destroyer gradually approached its conclusion.
Even though Daisy could repel the Destroyer, she was unable to inflict any damage on it. Instead, due to her frequent use of powers, she began to tire significantly.
After several heavy blows landed on her, Daisy started to falter, her body swaying unsteadily.
Nearby, Phil watched Daisy's precarious situation unfold. He rallied a group of agents armed with firearms in an attempt to draw the Destroyer's attention; he did not want Daisy to perish here.
"Ding ding ding ding"
A barrage of bullets rained down upon the massive form of the Destroyer, yet it paid no heed to Phil. Facing the precariously swaying Daisy, it slowly raised its right hand. In the next moment, a heavy hammer was about to come crashing down, seemingly ready to turn her into a pulp.
Daisy couldn't help but smile bitterly at the thought of losing to a hunk of metal. She felt unwilling, but in this dire situation, her reluctance was futile. All she could do was watch helplessly as the heavy hammer descended.
Just as the Destroyer's iron fist was about to strike Daisy, a sudden vibration caused it to lose its balance and crash to the ground with a thunderous sound.
Having narrowly escaped disaster, Daisy didn't remain dazed for long. Although she didn't know who had saved her, she realized that if she stayed here, she would likely end up as a puddle of flesh beneath that unfinished attack.
Stumbling away, Daisy fled as the Destroyer slowly rose to its feet and began to pursue her with heavy strides, seemingly intent on ending her life.
However, a target it had long ignored suddenly appeared. A battle axe sliced through the air and struck the Destroyer, leaving an unprecedented gash on its body.
The axe spun around and swept across its back again, causing the Destroyer to stagger before returning to the hands of Vostagg, who was burly and solidly built with a simple appearance.
The Destroyer's gaze finally shifted to them: the Three Warriors, Sif, and Thor, who they were protecting from behind.
A beam of light suddenly formed and shot toward them!
The Three Warriors and Sif joined forces, wielding their weapons to unleash divine power in confrontation. Sif gritted her teeth and said, "Thor, you need to go! We'll hold off the Destroyer; you hurry and find a chance to contact Heimdall!"
How could Thor, who had gained profound understanding and shed his arrogance, abandon his friends? Even in his former self, he would not have done so.
"Loki!" he called out. The indestructible divine light of the Destroyer abruptly halted as Thor stepped forward despite Hill and the others trying to stop him. He approached until he stood directly in front of it. "I know you're watching; I also know your intentions. Let them go, and I will give you what you want!"
Looking down at Thor, Loki's expression was uncertain from afar in Asgard. The Frost Giants had already invaded Asgard; even Heimdall, the bravest guardian of the realm, had been frozen by the Casket of Ancient Winters. His plan to overthrow Asgard was halfway complete. The other half rested on Thor standing before him. But at this critical moment, he found himself hesitating.
Perhaps it was conscience or perhaps years of brotherhood.
But Loki slowly closed his eyes. When he opened them again, only coldness remained in his gaze. He slammed Garnier heavily into the ground, while on Earth, the Destroyer was instantly pierced through by an indestructible divine light!
"Thor!!" The crowd shouted in disbelief as they rushed forward.
At that moment, no one wanted to believe that the invincible God of Thunder had fallen just like that.
Jane and Sif gently touched his gradually cooling body, tears streaming down their faces.
The Celestial Palace Three Warriors, after their sorrow, charged toward the Destroyer with boundless fury.
On the other side, Phil from S.H.I.E.L.D. chose to remain still; this standoff was advantageous for them.
Meanwhile, Shasha, watching the scene through a telescope, showed no intention of intervening. Thor would soon be revived to full strength; any effort on his part would be futile, so it was better to sit back and enjoy the outcome.
As if following its original trajectory, Mjolnir began to stir from a hundred miles away.
