If the agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. wanted to remain unaware of Shasha's second identity as Liquid Snake, it would be quite a challenge. After all, this guy had repeatedly embarrassed S.H.I.E.L.D., even landing himself on Nick Fury's internal blacklist.
If it weren't for mission restrictions, Phil would have likely brought Daisy and a group of agents along.
Controlling the Destroyer, Loki looked at Shasha with a grim expression. He couldn't understand why there were so many busybodies around. The situation had become awkward; his desire to eliminate Thor was now utterly unrealistic.
Thor emerged from the ground, momentarily stunned as he faced Shasha, who was confronting the Destroyer. However, he wasn't one to act without reason; in the past, he would have charged in without hesitation, knowing he would never allow anyone to interfere in his battles.
"If you have any questions, wait until we deal with this big guy first."
Shasha spoke up, stretching out his hands as Vibration began to gather. He took the initiative to attack.
Thor was taken aback again but quickly joined the fight. He needed to return to Asgard, and the Destroyer was an obstacle in his way.
With a level four power intensity and the ability to manipulate both solid and ethereal vibrations, he could not only defend himself but also wear down the Destroyer. Coupled with Thor's role as the main attacker, their combined efforts made it only a matter of time before they defeated the Destroyer.
As the sounds of hammering and the roaring of Vibration echoed around them, the Destroyer was like a massive punching bag being kicked back and forth by the two. Finally, a deafening metallic distortion rang out.
Looking at the relatively intact Destroyer on the ground, which was emitting thick smoke, Thor and Shasha let out a sigh of relief.
This didn’t mean they had defeated the Destroyer; rather, they had drained its energy to the point of overload.
"Although I don't know who you are, thank you," Thor said between breaths.
Shasha waved his hand dismissively but kept his gaze fixed on the Destroyer. "No need for thanks; I just hope you can agree to one thing."
Upon hearing Shasha's request, Thor was taken aback for a moment before asking nonchalantly, "What is your request?"
"I want to go to Asgard!" Shasha stated openly, revealing his purpose without hesitation.
Thor was stunned; he hadn't expected such a request. Wait, how did he know Thor was from Asgard? Could it be that he wasn't from this world either?
"You just need to tell me if it's possible or not."
Gazing steadily at Shasha, Thor's thoughts shifted for a moment before he replied with a single word, "Yes!"
A smile spread across Shasha's face. He didn't need to ask Thor why he agreed; his goal had been achieved.
However, just as the atmosphere was calm, the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents arrived to disrupt the moment.
Phil approached with Daisy and several other agents, first addressing Thor, "Hello, I'm Phil Coulson, the Deputy Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. This is our first official meeting."
Thor looked Phil up and down, frowning slightly. "You're the ones who wanted to seize my hammer back then?"
Phil couldn't help but chuckle at that. "I think you misunderstood. We were just concerned that the hammer might pose a threat to us."
"Then does that mean you consider me a threat as well?" Thor said meaningfully.
Thor paused for a moment and then sighed lightly. "Indeed, initially I thought you were a threat, but now I don't see it that way. If possible, I hope we can establish a friendship."
Thor fell silent for a moment before breaking into a light laugh. "Let's wait until I return here in the future."
He waved at Sif and the Three Warriors, but when he noticed Jian's gaze, he paused for a moment, then gave her an apologetic look filled with affection.
The exchange of glances between them was filled with the longing and anticipation of lovers waiting for each other.
Thor, with his cape billowing, led the Three Warriors and Sif away. As they departed, Sif cast a lingering glance back at Jian.
Shasha did not immediately follow; instead, she caressed the massive body of the Destroyer. In the next moment, she shattered it into dust and packed it into a large sack, which she then stored temporarily in the System space.
Witnessing all of this, Phil stopped Shasha in her tracks alongside Daisy.
"What?" Shasha looked at their actions with confusion and did not make a move right away.
Phil's expression turned tense as he realized that this notorious figure before him was not someone easy to negotiate with.
"If you have no business here, could you please step aside?"
Seeing Shasha's half-smiling expression stirred a sense of humiliation within Phil.
What is the most unbearable thing? It is knowing that the enemy stands right before you, yet you have no means to deal with them.
After a moment of pale frustration, Phil waved his hand for the agents to clear a path. He remained rational, unwilling to make any unnecessary sacrifices.
Shasha walked past him gracefully, and as she brushed shoulders with Daisy, they exchanged a glance.
That glance held little meaning on the surface but carried an indescribable significance beneath.
Phil sighed as he watched Shasha leave, waving his hand to signal everyone to disperse. He needed to think about how to submit a report that wouldn't infuriate Nick Fury.
Meanwhile, Shasha caught up with Thor. They drove to the point where the Rainbow Bridge had once descended upon Earth, and its coordinates still remained intact.
"Heimdall!!"
Thor shouted into the empty air, his voice infused with divine power piercing through the atmosphere and into the cosmos, continuously transmitting to its intended destination.
After a moment, there was no response.
The group exchanged worried glances, and Shasha quietly remarked, "I'm afraid you Asgardians have a problem. There are only two reasons why Heimdall, the guardian of the Rainbow Bridge, isn't hearing you. Either he truly can't hear you, or Asgard is under attack."
For a moment, Thor was too preoccupied to consider how Shasha knew so much. His expression turned grave; he undoubtedly leaned toward the latter possibility. Suddenly, something struck him, and his face changed. "Oh no! It's the Frost Giants!"
