The death of Asazuo forced Tessa and the others to shift from open confrontation to covert operations.
The four of them no longer acted alone; instead, they had come together. After all, Asazuo had been the strongest among them, and now that he was dead, they dared not take any risks.
As a result, the conflict between the Black and White Duo had reached a stalemate.
Card King was eager to capture another target, but these individuals were elusive, forming a temporary alliance to avoid detection.
Those who wanted to drive him away soon realized he was unwilling to leave. His purpose was not only to monitor Shasha but also to get closer to Anna.
"This won't do. This guy is really annoying. At this rate, when can we set off to find the statue?"
Impatient, Felicia privately approached Shasha. After a round of complaints, she got straight to the point. "How about we—"
Seeing Felicia make a throat-cutting gesture, Shasha shook her head. "Do you want White Queen to become our enemy right now? We are the weakest among the three factions."
Felicia replied in surprise, "Not necessarily, right? Doesn't White Queen know that she and Card King are not enough?"
Shasha couldn't help but sigh at Felicia's naivety and patiently explained the current situation. "Right now, Black Queen is the strongest. On the surface, it seems our strength surpasses hers, but you have to consider from which angle you're looking at it. White Queen has more than just Card King under her command. We could kill him and then deal with White Queen, but can you guarantee she has no other backup? Remember, a starving camel is still bigger than a horse; I refuse to believe she has no other means."
After a moment of silence, Felicia asked, "So what now? How do we break the deadlock?"
"If we want to watch them fight among themselves, we need to put their competing interests right in front of them!" Shasha said, a hint of confidence appearing on her face. "Instead of us telling White Queen directly, it would be better if someone from Black Queen's side informs her about the statue's location."
A letter sent in Elizabeth's name arrived at a very ordinary community residence.
The occupant appeared to be a model, and when she returned home and saw the letter, her expression immediately changed.
That night, a figure clad in a black robe slipped out of her room and arrived at the location mentioned in the letter—a rooftop of a tall building.
Looking around, she saw no one. "I've come. Are you not planning to show yourself?" she said coldly.
"It's not easy to find you," came a teasing voice from behind. It was Shasha, transformed into a figure reminiscent of the King of Hell. The voice, slightly altered by the Mask, was familiar to her.
"How did you know my identity?" She turned sharply, fixing her gaze on Shasha without blinking.
"I went through Elizabeth's correspondence and found that you two exchanged emails almost every week. Of course, you were cautious and deleted the records. While I don't know what the content was, such a consistent pattern suggests you're not just colleagues; it seems more like communication between friends. So there’s only one conclusion: you both belong to a mysterious organization!" Seeing her silence, Shasha smirked slightly. "After that, I had a hacker help me trace the email's sending address and found you. Later, I sent you a letter under Elizabeth's name with just the address written on it. If you knew about Elizabeth's recent situation, you would definitely come. If not, then it proves I’ve got the wrong person."
She raised an eyebrow, astonished by Shasha's intelligence. Just from a few clues and assumptions, he had deduced her identity. It made her marvel at why Black Queen valued him so much. However, this was not her purpose for coming here.
"Don't you realize what consequences you'll face for luring me out?"
At her words, Shasha clicked his tongue but shook his finger playfully. "The other three must be itching to join us, right? Why not bring them out for a chat?"
As soon as he finished speaking, three figures suddenly appeared, surrounding Shasha in a triangular formation.
They were Damon, the Hellstorm, glaring at him with fury as if ready to kill; Angelica Jones, the Flame Star, wearing a lazy smirk; and Robert Dasko, the Sunspot, expressionless!
Along with Tessa, now all four of Black Queen's top lieutenants had gathered!
"What an honor this is! Is this how the mantis stalks the cicada while the oriole waits in the back?" Shasha feigned surprise.
Tessa looked at him coldly and said, "You managed to take down Asazuo, but we can just as easily take you down!"
"Really? Then let's see if you have the ability!" Shasha said coldly, drawing the Edman Longsword, Vibration ready to unleash. With his level as a fourth-tier mutant, he possessed strength between kingdom and planetary levels. Although there was a lot of room for exaggeration, defeating the four in front of him would still be easy. While Sunspot was a bit tricky, it was only a matter of time. No matter how high your abilities or speed, I will break through with a single sword!
In the next moment, the Daimont Staff activated, space shifted, and Flame Star transformed into a blazing fire, while Sunspot charged his solar energy.
Shasha raised his long sword high and swung it down with a furious shout, "Open!"
Suddenly, the space collapsed, sending the speeding Flame Star crashing to the ground and causing Sunspot's solar energy to dissipate.
This was Vibration! The real shock was nearing its peak, while Virtual Shock steadily improved. The combination of these two shocks produced a bidirectional vibration and energy from the vibration frequency that could instantly annihilate and break open all things!
Tessa stared in shock at the scene before her; she never expected Shasha to be this strong.
At that moment, she had to admit that she had underestimated him.
