Azure White Cloud was still that ordinary expanse, boundless and infinite.
"This expanse, under the naked eye, is the material void. But beneath the Eye of Insight lies the dark matter void. Later, Death God Karl discovered another void that could not be perceived by the Eye of Insight; he named it the Void. Your Earth scientists would explain it as a six-dimensional space, while we are beings of the primary biological world. Those others, we refer to as beings of the secondary biological world. To this day, no traces of secondary biological activity have been found in the universe. However, Death God Karl and Morgana firmly believe in the existence of such beings and have imposed restrictions on our primary biological rules, which they call Ultimate Fear!"
Zhi Xin first explained to everyone what Ultimate Fear meant, then addressed them directly, "Now I will transmit binary code to you. If successful, a cloud named 'Hello World' will appear in the void!"
The group exchanged glances, their eyes settling on Glen, for only he, known as Galactic Power, possessed the ability to counteract the Void. They watched as he slowly stepped forward to face Zhi Xin.
"Open the Void, interpreted as 1."
"Deny the Void, interpreted as 0."
"Begin data transmission; data synchronization successful."
"This is a code spanning over 14.4 million characters and may require three minutes for connection."
As the connection began, those in the military camp started to feel dizzy, while those nearby sensed some unknown changes occurring around them. They instinctively looked at themselves and then at each other.
Above in the void, four characters gradually coalesced and formed what Zhi Xin had just mentioned: Hello World!
"We succeeded! However, we cannot remain here indefinitely, so we need to create a Void Controller. During this time, we will need your protection."
Everyone nodded; this was a critical moment. In 48 hours, humanity would rebuild communication.
During this period, although there were some mistakes made by the two that caused dizziness among those around them and required multiple attempts, they ultimately succeeded. The resulting Void Controller, however, left everyone somewhat puzzled.
"So this is what we got after 48 hours: a Program Pill?"
Indeed, the so-called Void Controller resembled a pill, somewhat like an oversized version of Liu Wei Di Huang Wan.
Zhao Xin looked on with envy, unsure of what it meant. "Can't we get a few more?"
Zhi Xin chuckled helplessly at his words. "Without the ability to counteract the Void, taking it could be fatal."
Glen exclaimed in surprise, "You can't eat either?"
"I can eat, but I absolutely won't. I'm afraid Queen Kaisa will scold me," Zhi Xin shook her head.
"But Holy Kaisa is already dead," Shasha glanced at Zhi Xin, confused about what their definitions of life and death were, or perhaps Holy Kaisa wasn't really dead after all.
Zhi Xin provided an answer, "Holy Kaisa lives in my heart. I would give everything to protect Zhao Xin's world, but you are the god of this world."
With that, she discreetly cast a glance at Shasha; in fact, it would be more appropriate for Shasha to take the pill, but she was not from this world.
Glen held the pill and chuckled self-deprecatingly, "So now I'm sitting in this tent, holding a black pill, and I've become a god who can change the world?"
Zhi Xin affirmed, "Yes!"
Zhao Xin couldn't help but curl his lips. "So you can do it, but I can't."
"Zhao Xin, your mission is the same as mine. Any star system without its own main god will be bullied by other star systems."
This was Zhi Xin's interpretation of star systems—very straightforward and practical.
"Last year, Zhao Xin and I were still eating gutter oil," Glen said with a nostalgic smile on his face. "So I ate it."
No one knew what Glen was thinking at that moment, but Shasha could see the immense pressure weighing on him. Was it too harsh to expect a young man in his twenties to bear the responsibility of the entire world?
But this was reality; saving the world wasn't something one person could accomplish. Just like in the Marvel Universe, where heroes worked together to defeat the evil forces invading Earth—how similar were these two worlds?
That night, everyone stayed awake. After taking the pill, Glen remained in a convulsive state; no one knew what he would look like when he woke up. Perhaps all they could do was pray that he would successfully undergo his transformation.
The smoke of war had lingered for months; there were no so-called bright moons or sparse stars. They could only watch as the world changed—from initially being solely about missions to gradually becoming emotionally invested in others.
"I don't know why Holy Kaisa chose Yan to follow you, but I believe she must have her reasons."
The words of Shasha reached Zhi Xin's ears from behind her, bringing a faint smile to his face. "Actually, I don't know either. I've never needed anyone to protect me; I've always been driven forward. It’s only recently that I've realized what I truly want to do. I've seen the so-called gods, not the gods of your world, but the gods of mythology."
Curiosity flickered across Zhi Xin's face. "What are the gods in your world like?"
"Omnipotent and omniscient, not born from science; they are products of the will of the universe's essence," Shasha replied with a smile as he turned his head. "But such gods often have the power to destroy entire universes without a second thought."
Upon hearing this, Zhi Xin's expression turned to one of shock. She had no reason to doubt Shasha; he had no need to lie. However, this only deepened her curiosity. "Then what do you belong to in your world?"
"Me?" Reflecting on Odin's description of cosmic levels, Shasha pondered for a moment before replying lightly, "Let's call it a Demigod."
"A Demigod?" Zhi Xin mulled over this intriguing term, suddenly gaining some understanding of Holy Kaisa's actions.
Shasha wasn't interested in knowing what Zhi Xin was thinking. After the conclusion of this world's Dungeon, he would return to Marvel, where many matters awaited his attention.
