Ziya's words were like a blast of cold air, instantly freezing everyone in place, and Liang Chao's face turned a deep shade of anger. Zhiqing's Apprentice felt the atmosphere was rather dull and made an excuse to step out for something. Inside the clinic, Zhiqing, Sun Meng, Ziya, and Liang Chao fell silent, with only the tireless fan buzzing away, sending warm gusts of air around. 0

"What do you mean? Do you expect my family to pay for my wedding? If that's the case, I'd rather stay single," Liang Chao vented his frustration, taking several hard puffs from his cigarette and refusing to look at anyone. 0

"Alright! I admit I was wrong earlier. So if you said you would get married by the end of next year, then let's stick to that! But I have a suggestion I hope you'll agree to." 0

Ziya's words were puzzling; what was going on with her today? Even Sun Meng stared at her in confusion, unsure of what Ziya would say next. 0

"Go ahead! Let's see how far you're willing to push me," Liang Chao replied, slightly irritated but forced to endure it. After all, it was Ziya speaking! If it had been Sun Meng, he would have lost his temper long ago and might have even stormed out. 0

"Let Sun Meng assist you at the clinic; that request shouldn't be too difficult!" After saying this, Ziya stood up and walked toward the clinic door. Why had YaYa blushed earlier? What had Zhiqing seen? There were many intriguing questions surrounding this situation. 0

Upon hearing Ziya's suggestion, Liang Chao felt as if his brain had short-circuited; for a few seconds, he was completely stunned, his expression frozen like a wax figure. He could even hear his own heartbeat thumping loudly and felt heavy breaths escaping from his nostrils. 0

Sun Meng felt relieved upon hearing Ziya's proposal. She watched Liang Chao's reaction closely; if he agreed to have her at the clinic, they could be together more often. She wouldn't have to worry about YaYa and him being too close anymore—after all, whether as colleagues or mentor and apprentice, spending so much time together would inevitably lead to complications. 0

"Well, that's a good suggestion; I support it," Zhiqing said as he pulled out a cigarette from his pocket and offered it to Liang Chao with a smile. 0

Liang Chao lazily accepted the cigarette with a resigned expression and addressed everyone in a calm tone: "Fine! I generally don't want to interfere too much with Sun Meng's work. Whether we are husband and wife or friends, we should both have our own space to grow. While Ziya's suggestion is good, it has its downsides. Sun Meng knows my temperament—I'm impatient and easily angered. If she can handle that, then Sun Meng, you can come!" 0

Sun Meng was thrilled by this opportunity and immediately announced that she would resign from her job at the end of the month to help at the clinic. But what about YaYa? How could a small clinic possibly need two nurses? 0

Sun Meng added, "I can recommend YaYa to my unit so she can go to the hospital; she might have better prospects there." 0

"Alright! I'll talk to the girl later," Liang Chao said coldly to Sun Meng. The latter looked at his expression and felt a pang of discomfort in his heart. 0

Once Ziya and the others left, YaYa emerged from her hiding place. "Master, just now..." YaYa suddenly appeared, startling Liang Chao, who was adjusting Fan's position with his back turned to her. 0

"Ah, just in time. Girl, I want to tell you something." 0

Liang Chao turned around and sat down in a chair, speaking in a tone that was both serious and casual. As a man, he understood all too well that YaYa was not suited to be his wife; at best, she could only be a lover. If he wanted to choose a virtuous and considerate housewife, there was no one else but Sun Meng. 0

"Uh, what is it?" YaYa picked up a broom and began sweeping up the cigarette butts they had left behind while listening to what Liang Chao had to say. 0

"Your Master's Wife at the hospital is currently recruiting Intern Nurses. She has used her connections to sign you up. The end of the month is coming soon, so you should go!" 0

"No, I can't leave you. No one can separate us," YaYa said firmly, slamming the broom down with a defiant tone mixed with a hint of childishness. 0

"Don't be like that! I'm your master; you have to listen to me. You volunteered for this; I didn't force you into anything," Liang Chao replied, seemingly getting angry as he slammed his hand on the table. 0

YaYa was stunned. She hadn't expected her master, who had previously looked at her with such affection, to suddenly act like a different person. She feared Liang Chao but also admired him deeply. She would obey his words out of fear of being ignored. 0

"Fine! Then I'll go," YaYa said reluctantly. Just as she was about to say more, a well-dressed woman with a beautiful face and an ample figure walked in through the door. YaYa had no choice but to pick up the trash and walk outside, leaving behind Liang Chao and the woman's teasing remarks. A pang of sadness hit YaYa; she knew exactly what kind of person Liang Chao was. Flirting with women was nothing new for him; she was aware of his numerous secret affairs with other women but pretended not to know. Now that Liang Chao was about to push her out of his sight, he would be free to indulge in his flirtations without restraint. What YaYa didn't realize was that Sun Meng would come in to take her place after she left. With these thoughts swirling in her mind, she walked over to the trash can and dumped the garbage inside, feeling unwilling as she turned back. 0

"Doctor Liang, it hurts here; it's swollen and feels tight," the female patient said with a frown, looking quite embarrassed. 0

"Is it here? Does it hurt?" Liang Chao stood up and reached out towards the woman's sensitive area, probing gently while employing his usual medical methods—listening, asking questions, smelling, palpating—to assess where her symptoms were coming from. 0

Just as she entered, YaYa happened to see her master’s hand wandering across a woman’s chest. The woman stomped her foot in displeasure, deliberately making a noise. The sight left the woman blushing with embarrassment, while Liang Chao was filled with anger. 0

Ziya returned to the company and took care of Sun Meng's matters, feeling a slight sense of relief in her heart. With some free time on her hands, Ziya picked up a brush and casually began sketching. She laid out a piece of silk paper and started to draw without much thought. Another colleague, aware of Ziya's talents, picked up a coffee and watched her from the side as she sketched. 0

"Not bad at all! This is amazing; who is this person in the drawing? So handsome." 0

The colleague's words jolted Ziya back to reality. Indeed, just like that, she had sketched the facial contours of Severe Cold. Was he still alive in her heart? 0

"It's nothing, just a casual drawing," Ziya replied softly, forcing a bitter smile. She took the brush in her hand and began to scribble wildly, ruining what had been a fine sketch of a face. Looking at the chaotic mess she had made, she leaned back in her chair and closed her eyes, wondering what Severe Cold was doing at that moment. 0
