Severe Cold heard a very strange story from a comrade. Because of his past experience in the public security department, the comrade sought Severe Cold's help to get to the bottom of the matter.
The next day, Ziya and Zhi Qing arrived at the agency, where they were greeted by a plump lady. Her eyes squinted into slits as she smiled warmly, treating Ziya and Zhi Qing like important clients. She ushered them inside, poured tea, wiped down the chairs, and offered them seats.
"Auntie, do you know who the previous owner of apartment 5 on the third floor of Unit One on Xin Yi Lane was?" Ziya ignored her enthusiastic welcome, which mistakenly assumed they were a couple looking for a place.
"What? I don't know. That apartment wasn't handled by me." As soon as she heard Ziya's question, her cheerful demeanor shifted dramatically; her smile vanished as quickly as a clown's face changing, replaced by a frown that made one uncomfortable. With a sneer, she picked up a broom and began to wave it around wildly on her desk. Dust filled the air instantly, prompting Ziya to cover his mouth and nose and hurriedly stand up to escape outside.
"What's wrong with you? We just wanted to ask about something! How rude..." Zhi Qing exclaimed angrily.
"What do you want? Tell me what you want! You come here early in the morning to cause trouble; are you tired of living? Ugh, a pair of shameless lovers."
"Damn it, who are you cursing... Watch your mouth," Zhi Qing retorted as he stood up to leave, only to hear the foul-mouthed woman insult him and Ziya. Furious, he rushed back into the shop, raising his fist as if to strike the plump woman.
"Go ahead, hit me! If you dare lay a finger on me, my life is yours!" The woman rolled up her sleeves defiantly, looking like a proverbial tigress ready to pounce.
Outside, Ziya quickly grabbed Zhi Qing's arm, forcing his raised fist down while addressing the boisterous woman. "Auntie, I respectfully call you that because you're of my mother's generation. Just look at yourself; you resemble a crow spreading its wings."
After saying this, Ziya pulled Zhi Qing away and they hurriedly fled. Once they were far enough away, she burst into hearty laughter. It turned out that mocking others was also a way to vent frustrations. The pent-up feelings that had been bothering her for so long were finally released, bringing her relief.
Most of this frustration stemmed from issues involving Sun Meng and Liang Chao, as well as wondering why Severe Cold had come to City A and where YaYa was hiding—why was she in hiding?
"You... seductress! I don't know which married man you're clinging to, yet you dare come here and talk back to me," the plump woman fumed upon seeing Ziya, who remained calm and composed despite being insulted. Her comparison of herself to a crow only infuriated the woman further as she stomped her feet in anger while realizing that by then, her targets had already vanished without a trace.
"Who is Auntie scolding?" The Fat Aunt had just finished her tirade, still simmering with anger, when a well-dressed figure resembling a movie star suddenly appeared at the shop entrance.
"Uh, I wouldn't dare scold you. Please, have a seat," the Fat Aunt quickly said, pulling at her ample flesh, her eyes squinting as she forced a smile that looked rather grotesque. Her chubby hands gestured to let the newcomer into the shop.

"We need to sort this out as soon as possible," Ziya said anxiously to Zhiqing.
"The problem is Sun Meng; she's not cooperating. We can't just barge in, can we?" Zhiqing replied, shielding her eyes from the glaring sun that peeked through the clouds. It seemed like another scorching day.
"Let's go to the clinic."
"Uh, alright!" Zhiqing and Ziya got into the car and headed for the clinic.

Liang Chao held a bouquet of hastily purchased flowers from the florist as he lazily unlocked the door to his home. This house was once a place where he and Sun Meng had envisioned a beautiful future together. Now, it was eerily quiet. He picked up the bouquet of carnations, lilies, and roses and gently walked toward the bedroom. The flowers were meant to make up for Sun Meng's birthday yesterday; he had come home early just to cheer her up. At that moment, Sun Meng seemed like a little wronged wife harboring resentment towards him. She would only mutter incomprehensible words under her breath when he turned away, filled with bitterness from when he had left home a few days ago. Women needed to be coaxed; if he could just make her happy again, all past grievances would vanish, and she would love him just the same.
As he approached their bedroom, Liang Chao pushed open the door... only to find Sun Meng lying naked on the bed. Her gaze was hazy as she made various suggestive movements that only occurred when they were together. It was as if someone else was sharing her joy in bed. This scene sent a chill down Liang Chao's spine; he stood frozen at the doorway, his flowers scattering across the floor.
"Mengmeng, Mengmeng... what’s wrong?" Liang Chao rushed to the bedside, wanting to reach out to her. A strange cold wind seemed to swirl up from the bed and pass right through him, causing an unsettling pain in his heart.
Suddenly, Sun Meng snapped awake and saw only Liang Chao fleeing in panic, with flowers strewn across the floor catching her eye. Why did he run away? Why did Liang Chao leave? They had been fine just moments ago—why did he have to go? Confused and dazed, Sun Meng struggled to sit up. Where did those flowers come from? She remembered there hadn’t been any flowers just moments ago.
Sun Meng continued to lie on the bed, drowsy and exhausted. She cherished the feeling of being both real and unreal just moments ago. He cared for her so tenderly, protecting and loving his Mengmeng. He provided her with physical comfort, while her spirit found solace. Sun Meng's right brain remembered the pleasure from earlier, while her left brain numbly stared at the flowers on the floor. Her phone had broken during an argument with Liang Chao two days ago, yet he had come to her side in the middle of the night, keeping her warm and caressing her throughout the night, savoring every inch of her body.
The bed was messy, Sun Meng's hair was disheveled, and her entire body felt weak and sore...
Liang Chao rushed down the stairs to get his car, his heart pounding violently. When his phone rang, his hands were still trembling. He picked up the phone to find it was Severe Cold calling, saying there was something urgent that required him to meet. After hanging up, he drove off to see Severe Cold.

Ziya and Zhi Qing arrived at the clinic only to be met with a closed door; Liang Chao surprisingly did not answer. What was he up to?
