As Ziya stepped into the room, she was caught off guard when the door closed behind her. Before she could fully process what had happened, two figures emerged from behind the door, each grabbing one of them and holding them captive. 0

“Mmm…” Ziya could only manage a muffled sound as her mouth was covered, struggling against the intruder's assault. She sensed something pressing against her waist, a weapon perhaps. 0

“Don’t make a sound,” the assailant hissed in a low voice. 0

From the slight tremor in their voices, Zhiqing could tell that they were scared. He gave a dismissive smile to the man holding him and said, “We’re all just trying to survive; there’s no need for this kind of communication.” 0

Upon hearing Zhiqing's words, the assailant instinctively tensed up. He exchanged glances with the woman who was restraining Ziya, and they both released their grips. 0

Zhiqing took a moment to carefully observe the two captors. One was a man of average height with fair skin, a bulbous nose, and large ears. His small eyes were filled with intensity, reflecting his nervousness as if he viewed Ziya and Zhiqing as threats. He wore a plaid shirt, and his pants were so dirty that their original color was unrecognizable—this was Liu Yi. 0

Liu Yi—22 years old, male; an avid gamer with a deep understanding of computer systems, he was well-known among online communities as a computer whiz. 0

The woman was shorter with well-proportioned features and large eyes. A few white freckles dotted her nose, and her thin lips complemented her beauty, rivaling that of Ziya and Xiao Ranhong. The freckles on her nose did not detract from her attractiveness; instead, they added an alluring charm. According to the notebook, she was female, 20 years old, named Zeng Qin. It was clear that she had been overly frightened; as Zhiqing observed her, he noticed her constant swallowing—a sign of her extreme tension. 0

“What… is going on?” Both parties exchanged questioning glances. Ziya blurted out her inquiry while Zhiqing scanned the surroundings nervously, never letting his guard down. 0

“We don’t know how we ended up in this strange place or when we got here. I don’t even know who I am. Can you tell me who I am?” Zeng Qin held back tears that threatened to spill over as she looked at Ziya and Zhiqing with pleading eyes. When she had woken up earlier in confusion and fear, she had encountered Liu Yi in the hallway, but he too was unaware of their situation. With no other choice, they decided to stick together for mutual support and quickly developed a bond vowing never to abandon each other regardless of circumstances. 0

“We don’t know what’s happening either. Can you tell us what’s going on here?” Liu Yi asked as he saw that there were others alive; his fear began to dissipate upon seeing them. He shrugged his shoulders in resignation. 0

While Liu Yi spoke, Zhiqing flipped through the notebook until he found the page with their names on it and handed it to Liu Yi for him to read. Liu Yi furrowed his brow as he examined the notebook, his expression shifting unpredictably. 0

“Damn, my name is Liu Yi. Here! This is you.” Liu Yi exclaimed in surprise, pointing at a photo labeled with Zeng Qin's name. 0

“Is this me? Zeng Qin…” The woman revealed a faint smile while continuing to look at the file, which surprisingly included a section about her occupation. 0

Zeng Qin was a nurse, and neither Zhiqing nor Ziya had paid much attention to the occupation section on the Notebook. As they spoke, both leaned in to examine the Notebook. 0

Ziya's occupation was an amateur literary contributor, while Zhiqing was a feng shui master. 0

“Who the hell is playing tricks? The information on the Notebook, while not entirely accurate, is somewhat credible. This must be someone who knows our situation well, someone who knows each of us inside out,” Zhiqing vented her thoughts that she had been too afraid to voice. 0

“Who is it? I want to know too,” Liu Yi said with a grim smile as he crossed his arms. 0

“I know! It must be the Demon Enforcer who brought us here. I even saw a ghost earlier; it scared me…” Zeng Qin's pale face flushed slightly as she spoke. 0

“What’s wrong?” Ziya, also a woman, sensed that something had happened to Zeng Qin and quickly pressed for more information. 0

Meanwhile, Xiao Ranhong was racing down the corridor alone, unaware of how far she had run or how many turns she had taken. Her heavy breathing echoed through the hallway. 0

The flickering lights along the corridor cast shadows like will-o'-the-wisps, and it was then that Xiao Ranhong truly understood fear. The seemingly endless corridor twisted and turned with countless doors that loomed like gaping mouths waiting for prey to wander in. Xiao Ranhong curled up against the wall in a corner of the hallway, unable to run any further. 0

A strange sound grew closer—thump thump thump. Xiao Ranhong anxiously focused on the source of the noise. The rustling and thumping seemed to be right by her ear. 0

Thud thud thud. Xiao Ranhong pressed her hand against her wildly beating heart, feeling an overwhelming sense of dread as her legs lost all strength to stand and run. Tears streamed silently down her cheeks, filling her eyes with regret for having selfishly fled and for leaving Ziya and Zhiqing behind. 0

Xiao Ranhong struggled to rise several times, but her legs felt numb and powerless. She crawled up only to fall again, repeating the cycle until she finally closed her eyes, waiting for that strange thing to approach her like a spinning top. 0

She sensed movement beside her, breathing heavily and gasping for air, yet she dared not open her eyes to glance at the object right next to her. 0

Silence—there was an eerie feeling as if nothing existed. The pain from the dagger wound seemed to have vanished, and Xiao Ranhong thought the entity had left her. Slowly, she opened her eyes, and what met her gaze were a pair of blood-red eyeballs. She gasped in shock, momentarily forgetting how to scream. The blood-red eyes fixed intently on Xiao Ranhong, and then it pulled out a mirror from an unknown place, holding it up to her. 0

Xiao Ranhong looked into the mirror and saw her own reflection—her mouth wide open like a ghost. From behind the mirror, a claw resembling a withered arm reached out, tearing at Xiao Ranhong's face in the reflection. Staring in horror, she watched as the skin of her face was ripped away, revealing a bloody visage with only facial features… 0

“Ahhhhhhh!” 0

The shrill scream echoed through the underground structure, piercing like a gust of wind that swiftly permeated every corridor and reached the ears of Ziya, Zhi Qing, and Liu Yicengqin. 0
