I hung up the phone and took a deep breath, the shadow that repeatedly appeared in Duo Duo's nightmares lingering in my mind. 0

This kindergarten must be hiding some secrets. 0

Duo Duo's nightmares and Dr. Wang's words pierced my heart like sharp thorns. The kindergarten, once a place filled with laughter and joy, had now become an unshakable shadow in my mind. 0

Duo Duo's innocent smile and her terrified cries intertwined in my thoughts, making my heart ache. 0

I drove towards the kindergarten, the traffic heavy and the sound of horns blaring, yet nothing could disrupt my current train of thought. 0

Upon arriving at the entrance of the kindergarten, I parked my car and my gaze fell on the sign—"Golden Childhood Kindergarten." 0

The golden paint on the sign shimmered in the sunlight, appearing particularly glaring. I pushed open the large gate of the kindergarten and walked inside. 0

Zhou Mingze and Teacher Xu had used some connections to release themselves due to insufficient evidence. Now, Teacher Xu had reached out to me, wanting to confess some things. 0

"Ms. Su, you're here," Teacher Xu greeted me with a professional smile. 0

"Teacher Xu, please tell me about Duo Duo's situation first," I said, looking at her with a calm tone, trying to catch any unusual expression on her face. 0

"Of course," Teacher Xu led me to her office and poured a glass of water for me. "Ms. Su, please have some water." 0

I took the cup but didn't drink from it; I simply set it gently on the table. 0

"Has Duo Duo shown any unusual behavior at kindergarten?" I stared into Teacher Xu's eyes, trying to find answers in her gaze. 0

Teacher Xu pondered for a moment. "Ms. Su, let's talk in the office," she suggested, gesturing for me to enter. I followed her into the office and sat down in a chair across from her. She poured another glass of water and placed it on the table in front of me. 0

"Ms. Su, what would you like to know?" Teacher Xu asked, her fingers unconsciously tracing the rim of the cup. 0

She then slowly said, "Duo Duo has indeed been somewhat withdrawn lately and doesn't play much with the other children." 0

She sighed softly, a hint of worry crossing her face. "We've been keeping an eye on her situation but haven't noticed anything particularly concerning." 0

I nodded slightly, trying to control my emotions and keep the turmoil within me hidden. 0

"Did she mention being afraid of anyone or anything?" I continued. 0

Teacher Xu shook her head. "No, Duo Duo hasn't reported anything like that to us." She paused and added, "However, children's emotions can fluctuate quite a bit; it might just be some minor issues. Ms. Su, you needn't worry too much." 0

Teacher Xu sat down across from me, her hands clasped on her knees, her gaze fixed on me. 0

I picked up my cup, took a small sip, and then set it down. "Has Duo Duo shown any unusual behavior at kindergarten?" I looked at Teacher Xu, my eyes sharp. 0

Teacher Xu pondered for a moment before saying, "Duo Duo is a well-behaved child; she is usually very lively and hasn't shown any unusual behavior." She smiled gently, but there was a hint of insincerity that made me uneasy. 0

Her answer was watertight, yet my doubts remained unshaken. I stood up and walked to the window, watching the children playing on the playground; Duo Duo's figure seemed to linger among them. 0

"Thank you for your cooperation today, Teacher Xu." I turned around and gave her a slight smile. 0

I locked my gaze onto Teacher Xu's eyes, trying to find a crack in her calm demeanor. "Are you sure? Did Duo Duo ever tell you anything? Like if she was scared or if she had any dreams?" I emphasized each word as I asked. 0

Teacher Xu's eyes flickered for a moment before returning to their calm state. "No, Ms. Su, Duo Duo has never mentioned anything like that to me." She shook her head with certainty. 0

I looked at Teacher Xu with a slight cold smile. I knew she was lying. Duo Duo's nightmares couldn't have appeared out of nowhere. There must be some hidden secret in the kindergarten. 0

"If there are any new leads, please contact me immediately." 0

"Of course, Ms. Su." Teacher Xu also stood up and accompanied me to the office door. 0

After leaving the kindergarten, I immediately called my secretary. "What’s the update? Have you found anything?" My tone carried a hint of urgency. 0

"President Su, I've found that Zhou Mingze had significant financial transactions with Li Ming just days before Duo Duo's incident," the secretary's voice came through the phone with a serious tone. 0

My heart sank; it seemed my suspicions were correct—they indeed had something going on. "Alright, I understand. Keep investigating; I want to know every transaction." 0

"This is the bank statement for Li Ming and Zhou Mingze's father; you can take a look." 0

I hung up the phone, clenching my fists tightly, my nails digging deep into my flesh. 0

In the kindergarten, shadows loomed, and the clues of a monetary transaction gradually formed a chilling truth. 0

A few days later, at the parent-teacher meeting, I stood on the podium, facing a sea of parents below. 0

Taking a deep breath, I slowly began, "Today, I am here to reveal a cruel truth..." 0

My gaze swept across the audience, finally landing on Zhou Mingze and Teacher Xu. 0

Their faces were pale, their eyes flickering, unable to meet my gaze. 0

"My daughter Duo Duo did not accidentally fall; she was harmed in a conspiracy orchestrated by them. I will continue to investigate and find more evidence." 0

I pointed at Zhou Mingze and Teacher Xu, my voice trembling yet filled with strength. 0

"They conspired to seize my assets, even going so far as to coax Duo Duo into lying and creating the illusion that she was abused. And forensic expert Li Ming is part of their plan!" 0

I paused for a moment, my eyes scanning Zhou Mingze and Teacher Xu, whose expressions had turned grim. I pulled out the evidence collected by my secretary and held it high above my head. "This is the evidence of Zhou Mingze and Teacher Xu conspiring to kill my daughter!" 0

As soon as I finished speaking, an uproar erupted from the audience below. 0
