The hall was eerily quiet, and the few groomsmen who had come with Feng Dong huddled together, trembling in fear. They were not good people by any means, having associated with Feng Dong, but now they didn’t even dare to look at Jiang Chen. He seemed like a demon, a murderer without blinking.

“What else can we do? We’ll take it one step at a time. But I believe in Mr. Jiang; since he dared to kill Feng Dong, he must have been prepared,” Liu Pingping replied, excitement barely concealed on her face. It was incredible that the scenario she had imagined had actually come to life.
“Pingping, if Jiang Chen really solves this problem, will you really start to like him?” Yang Er suddenly asked.
“Uh, no way,” Liu Pingping defended herself nervously.
“That’s good! To be honest, you and Mr. Jiang aren’t suited for each other. Even though I’ve only been around him for two hours, I really don’t like his attitude. It’s better to keep your distance from someone like that,” Yang Er advised earnestly, fearing her friend might fall for Jiang Chen.
“He killed Feng Dong today for my sake. From now on, whatever he asks of me, I will not hesitate to do it. One must be grateful,” Liu Pingping said resolutely.
“Hey, if you don’t listen, you’ll regret it. Mr. Jiang is too flashy; he doesn’t know how to keep a low profile. If he dares to kill someone, what else won’t he do?
