Medical Plasma had become a highly sought-after resource. Originally, Leng Fengyang thought he could easily resolve the situation through the System Notification Detected Abnormal Human Transformation, but things were not as simple as he imagined. Violating the game rules resulted in a three-day system ban, which felt as painful as a maiden losing her virtue. However, as a Grave Hunter, Leng Fengyang had no reason to rely entirely on the system; he needed to grow stronger to protect those he cared about. 0

Without complete confidence, he decided against infiltrating the hospital again, realizing it was too risky. After all, if the Zombie Toxin Vaccine were so easy to produce, humanity wouldn't have fallen to such depths. 0

Just as Leng Fengyang prepared to accelerate and catch up with the main force ahead, Luo Shanhe, sitting in the passenger seat, felt his stomach grumble incessantly. He awkwardly touched his buzz cut and turned to A Yan, saying, "A Yan, I guess you're hungry too. Should we find something to eat first?" 0

Upon hearing this, Leng Fengyang couldn't help but smile wryly. He understood that in this perilous world, survival often took precedence over planning. He glanced at the seemingly endless road ahead and then back at Luo Shanhe's slightly embarrassed expression before finally nodding in agreement to slow their pace. 0

"Alright, Lao Luo. People are made of iron, and food is steel. We should grab something to fill our stomachs and regain our strength before continuing." 0

A Yan, now the group's medical and logistics expert, remained calm and meticulous. She quickly pulled out a Simple Map from her backpack and studied it for a moment before pointing to a small grove not far away. "That area looks more secluded, and the map indicates there's a stream there. We can go there for water while avoiding unnecessary trouble." 0

The three reached a consensus and slowly drove toward the grove. 0

As they ventured deeper into the woods, the surrounding noise seemed to fade away, leaving only the sound of wheels crunching leaves and occasional bird calls. They carefully selected an open yet concealed spot to park the vehicle quietly. Just as they were about to get out of the car, a sudden deep growl filled with menace shattered the silence around them like an ominous omen under the night sky. 0

A massive Gray Wolf had silently approached without them noticing. Its eyes glowed with an eerie green light in the dimness, seemingly able to see into their souls, sending chills down their spines. 0

What was even more alarming was that behind this Gray Wolf, countless pairs of eyes gleaming with the same light began to reveal themselves one by one. They advanced toward them in an almost perfect encirclement, turning this open space into a battlefield fraught with danger. 0

"A Yan! Get back in the car! Hurry!" 0

Leng Fengyang's voice sounded particularly urgent and resolute in the cold wind as he keenly assessed the dire situation before them. This pack of wolves was no ordinary threat; their large size and unusual strength indicated they were rare mutated creatures from another realm, posing a far greater danger than typical wild beasts. 0

Seeing this, Luo Shanhe instinctively grabbed a Submachine Gun from the trunk of the car, his eyes shining with determination to fight against the wolves. 0

Meanwhile, Leng Fengyang quickly and calmly analyzed their predicament. He knew they were at an absolute disadvantage in numbers; any reckless action could turn them into prey for these mutated wolves. 0

"Lao Luo! Don't be impulsive!" 0

Leng Fengyang shouted at Luo Shanhe before assessing their situation further. "We need to outsmart them; we can't fight head-on. These mutated wolves possess unimaginable strength and speed—confrontation will only lead us into despair." 0

Without System Notification Detected Abnormal Human Transformation available, Leng Fengyang understood that in such a crisis, calmness and wisdom were their only way out of being hunted by these wolves. 0

Hiding in the car would mean waiting for death; they needed to devise a plan to divert their attention instead. Luo Shanhe also realized how tricky the situation was and refrained from underestimating it while waiting for Leng Fengyang's next move. 0

Under the night sky, the small forest appeared both mysterious and dangerous, with the howls of wolves echoing like whispers from the Grim Reaper, constantly stirring the most fragile nerves within one's heart. 0

Leng Fengyang took a deep breath, forcing himself to calm down as he quickly constructed a mental map of the terrain. Not far away, a winding stream shimmered silver under the moonlight, flowing through the dense woods toward an unknown distance. On the opposite bank of the stream lay a relatively open meadow, bordered by a thicket of dense bushes that could serve as a temporary refuge. 0

"Lao Luo, we need to leverage this terrain. The stream acts as a natural barrier, temporarily blocking the wolves' pursuit. But we must take the initiative; we can't let them encircle us." 0

Luo Shanhe nodded, a glint of determination flashing in his eyes. "What do you suggest? I'm listening." 0

"Capture the leader first," Leng Fengyang whispered, drawing out the blood-stained rebar from his back. "The Alpha Wolf is the most cunning and ferocious among them. If we can subdue it, the rest will fall into disarray." 0

The two exchanged glances filled with trust and quickly devised a daring plan. Leng Fengyang would use the rebar as a weapon to attract and divert the wolf pack's attention while Luo Shanhe would sneak around to identify and locate the Alpha Wolf. 0

Taking a deep breath, Leng Fengyang charged out from their hiding spot, brandishing the rebar and shouting loudly to draw in the wolves, deliberately exposing himself to lure them into pursuit. The pack was enraged, howling fiercely as they followed his figure. 0

Meanwhile, Luo Shanhe stealthily crept along the edge of the stream toward the back of the wolf pack. After some maneuvering, Leng Fengyang skillfully led the wolves into a pre-set trap area filled with pits and rocky terrain. 0

Utilizing the landscape to his advantage, Leng Fengyang continuously changed directions, causing the wolves to scatter during their chase and creating an opportunity for Luo Shanhe. 0

At that moment, Luo Shanhe finally spotted the Alpha Wolf standing on a high ground, directing its pack's movements. He held his breath in anticipation of that decisive moment. Suddenly, he exploded forth with incredible power like a cheetah, leaping into action as his submachine gun shattered the silence with several sharp gunshots that pierced through the night air. Accompanied by his thunderous roar, he expertly drew the Alpha Wolf's attention. 0

Almost simultaneously, Leng Fengyang appeared like a ghost in the dark night. With his rebar transformed into a silver lightning bolt, he struck true and penetrated the Alpha Wolf's vital spot. 0

The Alpha Wolf let out a heart-wrenching howl as its massive body collapsed to the ground, shaking the earth around it. 0

This scene triggered a domino effect that instantly shattered the psychological defenses of the wolf pack. The remaining wolves either fled in terror or stood bewildered in place; their former ferocity and unity crumbled in an instant. 0

It seemed there would be meat for dinner tonight. 0

Luo Shanhe steadied his breath but his eyes sparkled with victorious joy as a long-lost smile full of pride crept across his face. 0
