Chapter Fifteen: Hello, Sadako 0

"Master, this is indeed a unique title among Easterners, but..." Logan looked Bai Luo up and down, clearly skeptical that such a young child could be any kind of master. 0

Bai Luo smiled but did not rush to confirm anything. After all, the title of master was something he had made up himself. So, in response to Logan's words, he merely shook his head and turned his thoughts back to the System Mall. 0

The System Mall offered a wide variety of items, primarily Talismans, along with some related products. 0

Within the System Mall, Talismans and the texts on talisman crafting were divided into five levels. First-level Talismans were the weakest, while fifth-level Talismans were the strongest. Some Talismans were unique; for instance, Bai Luo spotted a powerful Talismans called the Teleportation Thunder Talisman. It was only a third-level Talisman but valued at One Thousand Points. In contrast, the Swift Movement Talisman and Power Talisman that Bai Luo had previously exchanged varied in strength and exchange price across all five levels. For example, the fifth-level Power Talisman was known as the Divine Power Talisman, worth five thousand points, reputed to be capable of shattering mountains with a single punch—extremely formidable. 0

Bai Luo had actually set his sights on something more akin to "Bloodline" within the System Mall: an item called Blood Rune Body. This not only allowed one to draw Talismans out of thin air with their fingers but also fundamentally transformed a person's body, enabling Bai Luo to permanently inscribe certain Talismans onto his own form. 0

If he could exchange for such an item and supplement it with numerous Talismans, then Bai Luo would truly become a Talismancer. 0

However, it was clear that this item was priced too high for Bai Luo at this moment. Even exchanging for a portion would bring him more disadvantages than advantages, so he had no choice but to temporarily set this idea aside. 0

Moreover, right now, Bai Luo needed to deal with Sadako. 0

He browsed through the options and settled on a Talisman worth one hundred points. 0

This was not an extremely aggressive Talisman; on the contrary, it was an auxiliary Talisman that allowed one to establish a connection with Vengeful Spirits and even communicate with them. 0

This Talisman could create a link with specific ghosts within a certain distance, making communication possible. 0

Bai Luo deduced that Sadako's current state might be similar to that of Mizumura Memeko earlier; thus, he decided to initiate communication first. 0

Bai Luo exchanged for the Talisman and took it out. With a slight tug in mid-air, as if performing magic, the yellow paper inscribed with mysterious runes transformed into a radiant light and merged into Bai Luo's body. 0

Logan couldn't help but glance over in surprise. 0

This Talisman was priced at only one hundred points because it could only allow Bai Luo to connect and communicate with Vengeful Spirits. 0

At this moment, in this bar, there were truly only two entities that could be called Vengeful Spirits. 0

The first one was, of course, Mizumura Memeko, who was clearly attached to her own body. As for the second one, it was none other than Shan Village Sadako. 0

She was indeed hiding inside a nearby television, her thoughts hazy. Bai Luo easily formed a mysterious connection with her—this connection manifested externally as Bai Luo shuddered, straightened his posture, and his eyes slightly glazed over. 0

This scene left Wolverine dumbfounded. Logan stared with wide eyes at Bai Luo, who was sitting upright with his eyes rolled back and a vacant expression. He couldn't help but feel a bit suspicious. 0

Fortunately, they were seated in a secluded corner with hardly anyone around; even the waiter was busy on the other side and had not noticed their situation. 0

Logan felt puzzled. Was this what the Eastern legends referred to as a "spiritual communication state"? Could this kid really be some kind of master? 0

Bai Luo, however, was unaware of Logan's doubts. At that moment, he had achieved a certain mental synchronization with Shan Village Sadako, making communication possible. 0

It was a peculiar sensation; although Bai Luo couldn't see her, he could sense Sadako's presence through some strange perception. 0

After pondering for a moment, Bai Luo lowered his voice as gently and neutrally as possible and said, "Hello, sister." 0

As soon as he spoke those words, he felt goosebumps all over himself. 0

However, this opening line was clearly much better than his previous attempts to engage. Although Sadako didn't respond verbally, Bai Luo could distinctly feel a hint of feedback from her presence—it felt as if she had glanced at him. 0

Bai Luo thought for a moment before continuing, "I am Bai Luo. I mean no harm; I just want to help you." 0

Sadako still did not speak. 0

Bai Luo found himself at a loss for words; Sadako seemed even more closed off than Mizumura Memeko. 0

Having studied communication engineering in the past, Bai Luo knew how to talk nonsense convincingly, but when it came to guiding someone emotionally, he truly felt like an outsider. 0

Just then, another voice echoed in his mind—it was Mizumura Memeko's loli voice: "Bai Luo, you don't really not know what to say now, do you?" 0

Bai Luo was slightly taken aback and said, "You can hear my conversation with her?" 0

"We are bound together. When you established communication with her, I also connected with her. However, she seems to be even more frightened than I am. We are the same kind of existence, and I’m here to help persuade her." 0

Bai Luo stroked his chin thoughtfully and replied, "It would be best if she could join us!" 0

Mizumura Memeko responded to this with a cold snort. 0

And then… it became Mizumura Memeko's personal showcase. When this girl wasn't cursing or killing, she was quite adorable as a Loli. Her tone was sweet, and she was very articulate. She took the lead while Bai Luo chimed in from the side. To everyone's surprise, Sadako actually responded and began to speak cautiously. 0

Sadako's situation was indeed similar to Mizumura Memeko's. Her past memories had completely vanished, leaving her unaware of her tragic experiences. Yet, her ghostly powers were incredibly strong, even surpassing Mizumura Memeko's. However, perhaps due to the strength of her abilities, although her memories were lost, the feelings of inferiority and sadness stemming from her past suffering remained. This is why she appeared so withdrawn, especially after her recent rampage on the streets of Kansas. 0

Mizumura Memeko was quite skilled in conversation and, in a sense, shared a commonality with Sadako. Their dialogue progressed even more smoothly than Bai Luo had imagined. 0
