With a tremendous roar, another scene unfolded that left everyone in despair. Kang Long had failed to defeat Gu Ping and let out an angry roar, howling to the sky before unleashing a breath of dragon fire towards Gu Ping.
The emerald runes ignited with flames, and the Pale Pink Radiant Flame nearly consumed the surrounding Starlit Mist. The runes were continuously destroyed, and it would take time to repair them. Everyone watching the scene felt the intensity of the moment increase.
Gu Ping did not linger in battle; after withstanding Kang Long's attack, he swiftly dodged the subsequent assaults from the other five dragons and launched his own counterattack.
In the midst of the dazzling attacks from the six dragons, Gu Ping skillfully maneuvered, managing to hold off the Six Symbol Dragons with apparent ease.
Qingyu Monk found it strange; just moments before the battle began, Gu Ping had cast a powerful Spell, yet he wondered why he had not used it again.
Despite his confusion, Qingyu Monk did not reduce his efforts. After another cup of tea's worth of time, accompanied by a wail, Qingyu finally subdued the Heart Constellation Symbol Dragon from the Bowl and extracted its Soul Ring.

Seeing the Heart Constellation Symbol Dragon's defeat, the Fu Long in the starry sky intensified their assault. Yet Gu Ping continued to weave through their attacks without showing any signs of panic.
"Gu Master, hold on! Poor Monk will come to assist you."
Though Qingyu Monk spoke those words, he found himself unable to enter Gu Ping's battle. It was as if Gu Ping was entirely in control of the fight, and they could not keep up with that rhythm at all.
At that moment, Qingyu was momentarily stunned as a more terrifying suspicion suddenly surfaced in his mind. He then saw Gu Ping glance at him with a slight smile, further confirming his suspicions.
The voice of Lei Dongyue echoed in the air, making Qingyu feel even more convinced that Yan Dong, that young man, was absolutely not what he seemed. What good-hearted believers were they? Their actions were clearly a trap, aiming to ensnare everyone in one fell swoop.
It appeared that Gu Brother was already overwhelmed by the situation. Perhaps the others should set aside their grudges and lend a hand to Gu Brother.

With the previous stalemate broken, Qingyu Monk could now assist Gu Ping as well, drawing the attention of another Fu Long and alleviating some of Gu Ping's pressure.
Eagerly waiting on the sidelines, Ying Wuyi charged into battle alone against a Fu Long. Noticing Lei Dongyue approaching with ill intent, he deliberately drew the fight closer to Lei Dongyue, forcing him to engage rather than remain a bystander. The two pressured each other into revealing weaknesses, hoping to defeat their opponent first.
Yang Tong, who had been observing until now, could no longer wait. Gu Ping was managing to fend off three opponents with much less effort than before; it felt as though he could swallow those three Fu Long whole. Reluctantly, he prepared to join the fray.
Meanwhile, Gan Yuan remained on the sidelines, showing no signs of taking action whatsoever.
He clearly understood Minghong and Lei Dongyue's intentions, and he knew that Lei Dongyue must have his own trump card. From the experience of battling Gu Ping earlier, he could tell Gan Yuan that that person's strength was not as superficial as everyone perceived. If Gan Yuan were to give Gu Ping an evaluation, he would say four words: unfathomable.
A disciple from the Jade Void Sect quietly reminded him, "Senior Brother, no—"
Gan Yuan interrupted his junior brother, shaking his head and saying, "They are leaving."
