Upon waking up, the first thing she saw was a table full of chicken, duck, fish, and meat. The enticing aroma wafted toward her, momentarily leaving her in a daze, as if she were in a dream. Then, with a sudden jolt, she sprang up.
After days of wandering outside, she had neither eaten well nor slept properly. At this moment, all the disarray of time felt like a fleeting memory; the only thing that mattered was indulging in delicious food and drink.
Just as she was lost in this blissful thought, the door swung open, and a gentle male voice said, "You're awake?"
With a chicken leg in her mouth, upon hearing that lazy yet slightly alluring tone, she suddenly launched herself at the newcomer.
She slammed the chicken leg down on the table and began to put on an act. "Oh my, you finally have time to see me?"

Seeing her in a daze, Guan Xue laughed even more happily. "Last night, my sister called me over just to heal my wounds."

"Why do I smell jealousy?" Guan Xue pretended to be confused, playfully sniffing around.
Wenxin immediately felt embarrassed and hurriedly defended herself. "Stop being vain! I'm just worried you might misidentify your relatives."
After a brief pause, she quickly changed the subject. "By the way, how did you end up with her?"

"Forget it," Wenxin said, a hint of anger creeping into her voice. Unfortunately, Guan Xue merely smiled.
Frustration filled her heart as she propped her chin on her hand and continued, "Well, it is what it is. If fate has decided this, then I might as well treat it as an experience in another world. Hopefully, one day I can write a book titled 'The Memoirs of the Yin and Shang' that will be passed down through the Five Realms."
Guan Xue nodded. "Alright then, you can stay with me in the palace for now."
