Despite the shock from the Safe Zone and the ferocity displayed by Yelai, they did not forget their main task. After exchanging a few words, they all sprang into action.
On the other side, Yelai and Gaze had gone on a killing spree during their brief conversation. Under Yelai's command, Gaze was no longer restrained by its desire for slaughter; it unleashed its fury with abandon.
In just a few seconds, Gaze helped Yelai fend off the attacks from the nearby holes while also glancing at other holes around them. Each hole had two faces, one in front and one behind. This posed a challenge for the Sequencers, as the holes could monitor their surroundings without any blind spots.
However, this very advantage became a disadvantage. Their all-encompassing vision created an opportunity for Gaze to easily lock eyes with them. It was as if Gaze were a wolf among sheep; with just a glance, it could connect with any approaching hole, then attach itself to that body and use it to target others.
Like a game of dominoes, with Yelai at the center, one hole after another fell victim to Gaze's possession and slaughter. As long as their rank was below five, none could withstand Gaze's Sequence Power.
Seeing this unfold, Yelai delivered a punch to the Dead Point of a nearby hole, killing it instantly. He nodded in satisfaction.
Gaze was indeed reveling in the carnage. Yet, given that it only targeted those around Yelai in its madness-fueled slaughter, it was clear that it had not escaped his control.
Because Gaze was strictly adhering to his commands to assist him in eliminating Anomalous Entities. If this continued, it would likely soon rank up.
In the safe zone cleared by Gaze, Yelai scanned the approaching holes with his gaze. At that moment...
Yelai was like a lawnmower, cutting through hundreds of nests, leaving a vacuum in its wake as Gaze annihilated the surrounding entities.

Yelai seemed to possess an invincible domain; any Anomalous Entity that approached its territory was almost guaranteed to meet its demise.
I need to quickly elevate my Rank, Yelai thought, halting its steps and fixing its gaze on several nearby nests.
These nests were the only Anomalous Entities that Gaze had not possessed. Even without counting the number of Dead Points on them, Yelai knew their Rank was at least five or higher; otherwise, Gaze would not have been unable to kill them.
The scent of fear was still insufficient.
Taking a deep breath, Yelai murmured softly, like a cheetah pouncing on its prey, targeting these few nests.
Boom!
It leaped forward, descending from the air and landing on the shoulder of a Rank five nest, not giving it a chance to react. With both hands raised high, it seized the creature's head, thumbs digging into its temples.
In the next moment, a bizarre scene unfolded.
The Rank five nest suddenly stiffened, fear evident in its exposed eyes beneath its shell. The sight was strikingly similar to when it had interrogated Zhong Zhi, but not entirely the same.
As fear gripped it, the nest roared and launched an attack against the surrounding entities. However, this assault was not indiscriminate; guided by Yelai's line of sight, it targeted the specific nests that Yelai wished to strike.
If Zhang Yinlin were here, they would surely see the truth.
This was one of the powers of fear within Yelai Sequence.
There was no other reason for this phenomenon.
