In front of them, Liu Xuchang and the Anomalous Entity known as Blizzard were being observed by Yelai and the Tongue Sequence Creature.
At that moment, the Tongue Sequence Creature paid little attention to the battle between the two, casting a sidelong glance at Yelai, who was engrossed in watching Liu Xuchang and Blizzard fight. Ever since agreeing to Yelai's proposal in the hotel room, it had been led out of the hotel by Yelai while being concealed by Eyeballs.
Along the way, thanks to the invisibility provided by Eyeballs, they moved freely through the Sequence Amusement Park even during nighttime. Many Sequencers failed to notice any living beings passing by them. The Tongue Sequence Creature followed Yelai's lead without taking any action, allowing Yelai to guide them toward their target.
Now that the target had been found, a loud crash echoed as Liu Xuchang continued his battle with Blizzard. With a rank increase paired with Nine, their fight was exceptionally fierce; even without using Sequence Power, the sheer physical confrontation was monumental.
Liu Xuchang relied on his Sequence abilities and approached Blizzard, delivering a powerful punch. In the next moment, Blizzard dodged swiftly, causing Liu Xuchang's attack to miss and his fist to strike a nearby marble statue in the amusement park.
With just one punch, the force was so immense that the marble statue shattered under the impact of Unknown Horror's strength, sending debris and dust flying into the air. Yelai glanced down at the fragments that had splattered at his feet, marveling at the power of both Liu Xuchang and Blizzard. He turned his head to look at the Tongue Sequence Creature beside him.
Strangely enough, despite Liu Xuchang and Blizzard unleashing their full power and shattering a marble statue with a tremendous noise, no tourists came running at the sound. It seemed that only Liu Xuchang, Blizzard, Yelai, and the Tongue Sequence Creature were aware of what was happening here.
In fact, it was indeed so.
With a proposal in the hotel room, not only Yelai, but also the Tongue Sequence Creature was utilizing its Eyeballs' Sequence Power. It seemed that its Eyeballs could isolate sounds and movements. A suspicion began to form in Yelai's mind.
At that moment, the Tongue Sequence Creature glanced at Yelai, its mouth full of sharp teeth stretching into a grin, revealing the Eyeballs it held within.
Meanwhile, Liu Xuchang and the Anomalous Entity known as Blizzard were unaware that their battle's commotion had been muted. They only knew that the noise was too loud and they needed to resolve the fight quickly; otherwise, if other guests arrived, the situation would become very unfavorable.
Suddenly, their battle intensified, both fighters desperately trying to kill each other as fast as possible. In this bloody clash, it didn't take long for a victor to emerge.
With a sickening sound, Liu Xuchang punched through Blizzard's chest, extracting its heart without an ounce of mercy or hesitation. With a squeeze of his hand, thick green blood gushed from the crushed heart.
At that moment, victory was declared. The Anomalous Entity Blizzard lay dead. Sequencer Liu Xuchang had won at the cost of his own severe injuries.
Immediately after, Liu Xuchang, dragging his wounded body, crouched down in front of Blizzard's corpse and began to search it quickly. He needed to find the Sequence Amusement Park Card to heal at the hotel; after all, he was injured and if caught off guard by a lurking predator while he was vulnerable, he would struggle to defend himself—especially since the boost from a used Stamp that raised his rank to Level Nine would dissipate after the battle.
His rank had dropped back down to Level Eight.
But as he searched, he failed to notice that Yelai and the Tongue Sequence Creature had somehow approached him unnoticed.
Yelai exchanged a knowing glance with the Tongue Sequence Creature. "Enough watching; it's your turn to act."
Yelai's eyes glimmered with a piercing intensity, her large eyes darting around as she raised her slender hand. Her long, delicate fingers spread wide, reaching out towards Liu Xuchang.
Despite not being able to see Yelai or the Tongue Sequence Creature, Liu Xuchang, as a Higher Sequence Being, possessed a keen sense of danger. He suddenly realized that there was a threat looming behind him.
The distance between them was too close.
No matter how fast his instincts and reactions were, by the time he sensed the danger, it was already too late. The Tongue Sequence Creature seized his head with its fingers, just as he had crushed the heart of Blizzard before; his head was crushed in the same manner.
