Why has this video been online for more than half a month without raising any suspicions? Lu Xiaoran speculated that it might be because the light would only appear at night. Before the light emerged, he was the only Ability user in the entire realm. Therefore, when others saw the video, they likely just thought of him as a rich second-generation heir, completely failing to connect him to any Ability-related matters.
However, after six twenty in the evening, various Ability users would start to appear throughout the realm. If anyone were to see the video then, they might very well guess Lu Xiaoran's identity as an Ability user. It seemed he couldn't stay on this mountain much longer; he decided to leave that night.
After some contemplation, Lu Xiaoran resolved to depart from Dragon Ridge Mountain that evening. To ensure he could take his safe house with him at any time, he had replicated an Aerospace Engine at the bottom of the safe house when he first ascended the mountain. Now, all he needed to do was activate the engine, and he could fly away with the entire house from the mountaintop.
First, he needed to tidy up the house to prevent things from scattering everywhere once they took off. Anticipating that there might be some turbulence during the ascent, small items inside could fall to the ground. Lu Xiaoran began cleaning up in advance. He walked around the room, gathering various small objects into a woven bag. Then he tied up the bag with a rope and secured it next to the cabinet.
After finishing his tidying up, Lu Xiaoran glanced at his phone; it was already six eighteen. With only two minutes left before the light arrived, he decided it was time to go. He took out the Aerospace Engine control panel from a drawer and pressed a few buttons. Soon, flames began to shoot out from the engine at the bottom of the safe house.
Before long, with a slight tremor, the safe house slowly lifted into the air under the propulsion of the engine. At that moment, many beams of light resembling auroras began to appear in the sky.
The lights continuously spun and swayed, resembling ripples in a pool of water. Initially, the lights were green, their brightness not too intense. Before long, they shifted to a bright orange-yellow, appearing even more luminous than before.
At that moment, near the tents on the northern side of the open space, a group of twenty or so Outsiders looked up at the sky in astonishment. The peculiar sight above left them wide-eyed with surprise.
"Hey, look over there!" a Young Man exclaimed, pointing at the flying safe house and turning to call out to his companions. "Isn't that the house from South? How did it end up in the sky?"
More and more people noticed the airborne safe house, craning their necks to gaze upward. As the colors of the lights in the sky continued to change, the surface of the safe house was enveloped in a layer of neon-like hues, giving it an otherworldly appearance.
After lifting off the ground, the safe house turned in mid-air and headed towards the South district, quickly disappearing from view behind the mountain peak.
Flying steadily at a height of two meters above ground, the safe house soon reached the South district. From above, it looked as if the entire city was submerged in murky Muddy Water. The streets and some low buildings were already engulfed in shallow yellow toxic gas.
