Hua Wenlong nodded at him, took a puff from the cigarette in his hand, and said, "Alright, leader, you don't need to worry. I'll move with him tomorrow."
The next morning, Lu Xiaoran arrived at the door of room 303 next door. He knocked for a full two minutes before Hua Wenlong finally came over and opened the door.
"Are you annoying or what? Knocking like that so early in the morning," Hua Wenlong complained, cigarette dangling from his mouth.
"I don't want to either. But it's already late. The leader said everyone has to set off before eight," Lu Xiaoran explained with a helpless shrug.
"Got it, I know. Just wait downstairs," Hua Wenlong said impatiently as he closed the door and turned back inside.
He took out the Machete he had received yesterday and then picked up a Gas Mask from the table, putting it on his face. Once everything was ready, he went downstairs and joined Lu Xiaoran to head to Zhang Kaiwen's room.
"You two are going to raid supplies at West Harmony Community today; you can set off now."
Upon hearing the name of the community, Lu Xiaoran's expression froze momentarily. The West Harmony Community was where he used to live. In his previous life, after the gas reached Haitong City, he had been trapped in his rented apartment in West Harmony Community. After awakening his Ability, neighbors living in the same building would crowd at his door every day, constantly demanding food from him.
During that time, Lu Xiaoran lived in constant fear, worried that those neighbors would break down his door and barge into his home. Reflecting on those events now, he had no good impressions of West Harmony Community. The thought of raiding this community even brought him a hint of joy.
Hua Wenlong and Lu Xiaoran came out of the room and got into a car together. They drove down the winding mountain road for about ten minutes before arriving at West Harmony Community.
"Let's start raiding from this building," Hua Wenlong said as he stopped the car, called out to Lu Xiaoran, and then opened the car door to get out.
As they climbed the stairs, the two of them arrived in front of Room 60 on the Sixth Floor. Hua Wenlong took a couple of steps back before charging at the door with his shoulder.
With a loud crash, the door was immediately deformed and swung open. It seemed that his Ability was also Physical Enhancement.
Lu Xiaoran stood to the side, observing. The day before, during lunch, Hua Wenlong hadn't revealed what his Ability was. Now, seeing it firsthand, Lu Xiaoran realized that he possessed an Ability that enhanced his physical capabilities.
This type of Ability was one Lu Xiaoran had copied before, but he wondered if copying it again would be useful. Before arriving at Fog Mountain Sanctuary, he had encountered someone with a similar Ability and had already copied it from that person. Now that Hua Wenlong had the same Ability, Lu Xiaoran felt uncertain about whether copying Hua Wenlong's Ability again would still be beneficial for him.
