In this situation, if he went up the stairs and the building suddenly collapsed, he would be in danger. Ma Zhibiao felt curious about who had pushed her down. He used his Ability to fly closer to that window for a better look. Inside, several people were rummaging through drawers and cabinets, seemingly searching for something. They appeared to be burglars.
Just as Ma Zhibiao was engrossed in his observation, another person was pushed out of a window from several floors above him.
The person was falling from the sky, shouting loudly.
Ma Zhibiao was startled and quickly dodged to the side, narrowly avoiding being hit by the falling figure.
It was strange; why were so many people robbing at the same time?
As Ma Zhibiao pondered this, he suddenly noticed that more people were entering the building from the hallway below.
These individuals were bundled up tightly, some even wearing makeshift gas masks.
They all wielded weapons like kitchen knives and charged aggressively up the stairs.
After observing for a while, Ma Zhibiao finally understood that these people had escaped from the building.
It seemed they felt that their own homes could collapse at any moment.
Rather than waiting to die inside that building, they preferred to raid neighboring buildings for shelter.
The few people who had just been pushed out of the window must have fallen victim to this group.
