Lu Xiaoran stepped closer and placed his right hand firmly on Professor Lin's shoulder. Professor Lin looked at him in confusion; he indeed had conducted the experiment Lu Xiaoran mentioned, but he distinctly remembered that the subject was not Lu Xiaoran, but another Ability user.

Ignoring Professor Lin's explanation, Lu Xiaoran extended his left hand and pressed a finger against Professor Lin's ear. Then, he unleashed a torrent of clear water using his Water Ability.
Instantly, Professor Lin felt water flooding into his ear. He struggled to pull away, but Lu Xiaoran's grip on his shoulder was unyielding; he couldn't move an inch. Soon, the volume of water increased, and Professor Lin's eardrum burst from the pressure, sending a searing pain through him that made him cry out in agony.

The people standing next to Professor Lin were horrified by the scene and stumbled backward in terror, fleeing into the distance.

"Ah! No!" they screamed, struggling desperately, their limbs flailing in the air.
With a swift kick, Lu Xiaoran shattered the window glass and hoisted the two of them out like they were nothing more than a couple of chicks. He flew out of the window and gently descended onto the street below.
