As members of the Heavenly Dao Sect and Golden Sun Sect began to withdraw one by one, Chen displayed a smug expression. These people truly lacked courage!
"Senior," Chen stepped forward and clasped his hands in salute, "since no one dares to take on this challenge, why not let me shoulder this burden?"
"Oh?" Tai Xu Zhenzi squinted his murky eyes, sizing up Chen. "You have the determination, which is commendable. But you must think carefully; the treasures of the Four Great Saints are not so easily obtained. If you fail, the consequences could be dire!"
Chen sneered inwardly but maintained a righteous facade. "For the sake of all living beings, I would gladly risk my life!"
"Good! A commendable willingness to risk your life!" Tai Xu Zhenzi laughed heartily. "Since you are so resolute, I shall entrust this task to you!"
Standing nearby, Shen Qingyue couldn't help but roll her eyes. Chen's pretense was becoming increasingly polished; he didn't even fear tripping over his own tongue.
She discreetly tugged at Chen Li's sleeve and whispered, "Brother, are you really going to let him keep this up? Aren't you going to object? This is a tremendous opportunity!"
Chen Li smiled at Chen's self-satisfied expression and replied softly, "What's the rush? Let him prance around for a few days. The old man never said we couldn't snatch it ourselves; we can just sit back and enjoy the spoils."
Shen Qingyue paused for a moment before realizing what he meant, then immediately gave Chen Li a thumbs-up. "Brother, you're brilliant! That's quite clever!"
Chen Li raised an eyebrow in pride, feeling secretly pleased. He had a knack for taking advantage of situations like no one else could!
Suddenly, Tai Xu Zhenzi sneezed several times in succession, rubbing his nose and grumbling, "Who’s scheming against me behind my back? Once I have the time, I’ll make sure to hang each of you up at Heaven's Gate for all to see!"
Unaware that he had already been looked down upon by Chen, he was lost in the joy of the immense benefits he was about to gain. He envisioned himself obtaining the treasures of the Four Saints, dramatically increasing his strength and becoming an object of reverence for thousands!
He turned to Tai Xu Zhenzi and respectfully said, "Senior, please rest assured that I will complete the task and will not disappoint your expectations!"
Tai Xu Zhenzi nodded in satisfaction and waved his hand, enveloping Chen in a golden light. "This is a small gift I've prepared for you. I hope you can complete your mission soon and return triumphantly!"
As the golden light faded, Chen found an ancient ring in his hand. When he probed it with his spiritual sense, he was instantly astonished by what he saw inside!
The ring was actually a storage ring! It was filled with various precious pills, weapons, and techniques.
Chen's face lit up with joy; his excitement was nearly impossible to conceal. After a long moment, he regained his composure and knelt down sincerely in gratitude.
"Thank you, Senior!" Tai Xu Zhenzi waved his hand, signaling him not to be overly polite.
"Alright, you may rise. I hope you won't disappoint me."
No one noticed the meaningful smile that curled at the corner of Tai Xu Zhenzi's mouth.
Chen's hand, gripping the storage ring, was still trembling slightly. This was a tremendous opportunity! He suppressed the wild joy in his heart and bowed deeply to Tai Xu Zhenzi, vowing earnestly, "Rest assured, Senior! Once I leave this place, I will do my utmost to find the Four Great Saints' Relics and help you vanquish the demons!"
Tai Xu Zhenzi seemed quite pleased with Chen's loyalty. He stroked his white beard and nodded slightly, saying, "In that case, you should leave early to reunite with your sect."
Everyone was eager to leave this place, and Chen was anxious to count his spoils, quickly nodding in agreement.
"Senior," Xiao Ling from the Heavenly Dao Sect cautiously asked, "how do we leave this place?"
Chen suddenly realized that they had been swept here by that strange vortex and had no idea how to return!
Tai Xu Zhenzi smiled faintly at Chen and said to everyone, "Want to know how to leave? Ask him; this kid is quite clever!"
Chen awkwardly rubbed his nose and chuckled dryly, "Senior is joking; I don't know either."
Tai Xu Zhenzi looked at Chen with a smile, a glint of cunning in his eyes as he said slowly, "Kid, stop pretending. Open your storage ring and take a good look at how to leave."
Chen was taken aback by the words and then seemed to realize something; his expression shifted from panic to wild joy. He eagerly probed his consciousness into the storage ring and began searching carefully.
"Hahaha! Just like this! Just like this!"
Moments later, Chen couldn't help but burst into loud laughter, excitedly exclaiming, "I've got it! Thank you for your guidance, Senior!"
His sudden change left everyone present puzzled.
Shen Qingyue curiously leaned closer to Chen Li and whispered, "Brother, what's wrong with Chen? Is he going crazy over some treasure?"
Chen Li looked at Chen's smug expression with a hint of disdain in his eyes and sneered, "Let him be. I can't shake the feeling that this old man has no good intentions."
"Huh?" Shen Qingyue gasped in surprise, covering her mouth. "Are you saying there's something off about that storage ring?"
Chen Li shook his head without directly answering. Instead, he spoke meaningfully, "It's just a gut feeling."
At that moment, Chen was completely immersed in the joy of finding a way to leave, completely oblivious to the strange looks from those around him.
He strutted confidently in front of the crowd and announced loudly, "Everyone, I have found a way to leave! Anyone who wishes to accompany me can come forward now!"
Except for you two, Chen Li and Shen Qingyue!
His arrogant voice echoed through the vast hall, filled with unabashed malice. "Unless you two useless siblings kneel and apologize to me, admitting that you are worthless!"
As soon as these words were spoken, everyone gasped in shock. The atmosphere, which had slightly relaxed after Tai Xu Zhenzi's departure, instantly dropped to freezing point.
Disciples from the Heavenly Dao Sect and Golden Sun Sect exchanged glances, looking at Chen with disbelief. They had heard that Chen Li and Shen Qingyue were his half-siblings. How could he dare to demand that they kneel and apologize in front of so many people?!
However, this place was mysterious, and they had no idea where they were. Without Chen leading them, they truly would have no way to leave.
Now, Chen Li and Shen Qingyue were utterly humiliated!

Shen Qingyue's face flushed with anger, her beautiful eyes nearly shooting fire. Although she was indifferent to powerful figures like Tai Xu Zhenzi, at that moment, their only hope of leaving depended on his reminder. If Chen refused to let them follow him, escaping would be difficult.
Chen Li quietly watched Chen with a detached expression. "With someone like you, Xiao Yue and I wouldn't even bother. We can leave without your help."
