Sang Qingxiao struggled to suppress the corners of her mouth that were curling up. "Li Cu, you've indeed become a bit rounder lately. It's a bit heavy to hold you in my arms. Why don't you try eating a little less?" 0

Li Cu jumped in front of the mirror, admiring her cat-like figure. Her fur was smoother and fluffier, her body fuller, and her face rounder. She happily flicked her tail; she looked even better now. She had been too thin before, and this was just right. 0

"Well, as long as you're happy," Sang Qingxiao said, indulging her with a few more compliments, causing Li Cu to roll around joyfully. 0

As Qi Xiaomian had predicted, the officials were searching more frequently. Before dawn broke, there was another knock at the door. Yue didn’t let Sang Qingxiao and the others go to the front; a little illusion magic helped them get through it. 0

Misha called Yue over for breakfast. Once everyone was seated at the table, Yue noticed that one person was still missing. 0

"Has that seat not been filled? Do you need me to help look for them?" 0

"Sang Qingxiao came by last night but went out again before dawn." 0

After tending to his injuries, Qi Xiaomian had left overnight, likely determined to find an answer for himself. 0

Yue asked again, "Is he interested in this case?" 0

"He’s handling other matters." 0

Yue almost blurted out, "That's good." 0

"Hmm? What do you mean by that?" 0

"This case is quite complicated," Yue replied kindly. "The Men's Wedding Dress Case has been ongoing for several years now. The county officials have changed several times, yet there hasn't been any progress. Those involved are all significant figures; it would be best not to get entangled in this matter so as not to delay your important affairs." 0

"Several officials have changed? There really are quite a few these days," Sang Qingxiao remarked. "Yue, you must know something about this case. Today's meal is a bit bland; why don't you share what you can with us? It would make for a nice appetizer." 0

Yue frowned. "Miss, are you also interested in this case?" 0

"Such unusual matters pique my curiosity," she replied. 0

Li Cu chimed in, "Yeah, Yue! Just tell us about it; it’ll save me from eavesdropping outside." 0

Seeing that everyone was quite interested, Yue brewed a pot of tea and began to narrate. 0

The case first emerged in Meizhou over a decade ago. One quiet night, a wedding procession appeared on the streets of Meizhou. It was strange enough to have a wedding at such an hour; the patrol's Yard Officer attempted to stop the procession to inquire further. However, as they approached, a strange wind suddenly blew, forcing them back and preventing them from getting close to the wedding party. 0

They watched in disbelief as the procession made its way toward the city gate, expecting it to be stopped there. To their surprise, the procession passed straight through the gate, disappearing into the night with a series of knocks and sounds. 0

The City Guards were taken aback by this scene and immediately dispatched some individuals to follow and investigate. However, it was once again that strange wind that thwarted their pursuit. 0

The guards quickly reported the incident, but initially, it did not receive much attention from their superiors. It wasn't until the third appearance of the Wedding Procession that things began to change. 0
