Indeed, the human heart is the most terrifying thing of all.
After sharing so much, the women gradually felt the urge to confide in each other. Without prompting, they began to recount their experiences from these past days. Once Xiao Ye was able to communicate with us, we treated it like our own child. When a child wants food and drink, as mothers, wouldn't we provide for them? The more blood it absorbed, the smarter it became. What surprised us even more was that a few years later, it managed to silently lead us away from that hellish place.

Everyone was outraged upon hearing this; it was as if a light bulb went off in our heads—we knew what needed to be done. Later, we learned about Xiao Ye's abilities; not only could it take us out of Chastity Tower, but it could also control ghosts. We slowly devised an entire plan.
The house we currently occupied had long been rumored to be a Haunted House. It was located in a very secluded area and guarded by numerous spirits, shrouded in mist day after day until people gradually forgot about its existence. Previously, when the Government hired a Demon Catcher, they overlooked this place due to the overwhelming number of wild spirits.
After selecting the house, we chose our targets. This area was the largest mass grave between several states; almost every day, bodies were discarded here. With so many spirits around, we could easily find our targets through their chatter.
We decided to capture people during nighttime weddings to confuse the Government's investigation and instill fear in them. This way, we could enjoy an extra day of freedom. But who would have thought that after more than ten years, they still hadn't uncovered any clues? It was truly unbelievable!
In fact, carrying the sedan chair was something we took turns doing while wearing ghost masks so they wouldn't recognize us. With Xiao Ye and the spirits' help, we effortlessly brought people out of the city. We imprisoned those wicked men here and taught them about our traditional values one by one—torturing them while having fun at the same time. Finally, that pent-up anger found an outlet.
Once we had thoroughly broken them down, would we kill them? Sang Qingxiao looked at the swaying root of Xiao Ye. Those corpses seemed full of life; could it be that blood alone couldn't satisfy Xiao Ye anymore? Were you raising it on the vitality of these men?
