Qi Xiaomian looked at Sang Qingxiao in confusion. They had already discussed that he would enter the Qi Family alone while the others followed Liang Shangshan from the Liang Family. Why had things suddenly changed?

He Chuan had long since followed closely behind without looking back.

Zhang Jingxue frowned. "You are the Qi Family Head's child; this is not appropriate."
"Aren't the family rules usually centered around Qi Hao? If I stay in the guest courtyard, it might be more comfortable for him. Besides, it's only for a few days; His Majesty is urging me to return to the capital soon."
"Suit yourself," Zhang Jingxue replied, turning her gaze toward Sang Qingxiao. "Most of the guests in the guest courtyard are male, so it wouldn't be proper for this young lady to stay there with you. Instead, why not stay in my courtyard?"
