Wisdom Supreme exchanged a few words with Sang Qingxiao, leaving those around them puzzled. There had been rumors that the buzz-cut from The Food Haven would be giving a lecture alongside Master Hui Jue. Most people were unaware of Misha's background, and upon hearing this news, they crowded around Misha to inquire further. Misha acknowledged the situation with a nod, but when pressed for more details, he fell silent. 0

At this point, Misha had yet to make an appearance, raising questions about whether the lecture would actually take place. Soon enough, someone started to stir the crowd, suggesting that while they could skip the lecture, the ritual must go on! Wisdom Supreme seemed indifferent to any potential no-show and stubbornly continued his standoff with Sang Qingxiao. 0

Some in the crowd caught on to his intentions and began to provoke Sang Qingxiao as well. It was then that Sang Qingxiao smiled and remarked that although Misha was absent, someone else would stand in for him. "Put aside your grievances for now; if we don't hold this lecture today, the reputation of Puzhao Temple will suffer, and you will bear the consequences. Can you handle that?" 0

With a sigh, Wisdom Supreme relented, and the atmosphere in the lecture hall lightened considerably. 0

Xuande Emperor sat high above, displeased. "In this mere Demon Catching Realm, a simple lecture leads to such verbal sparring? Their presence seems to overshadow even mine! Have they forgotten who truly presides over this Great Jing?" 0

Qi Xiaomian glanced at Cai Zhuo, who subtly exchanged a worried look with him. Then he leaned down patiently to appease Xuande Emperor. After a while, Xuande Emperor began to smile again. 0

His gaze was fixed on the small figure on the Lecture Platform—was this really Sang Qingxiao's representative? 0

Cai Zhuo interjected, "It is said that this child is the reincarnation of Buddha Child." 0

Xuande Emperor's smile vanished. "Ah yes, Dragon Guard had informed me about him. I remember now; he is not from Great Jing Dynasty! Hmph! Why do such matters always involve outsiders?" 0

Qi Xiaomian spoke up again. "The notion of Buddha Child is merely hearsay. Having observed him closely, I can tell you he is just a gluttonous little lazybones. His understanding of Buddhist teachings pales in comparison to Misha's; Misha has a temperament that could drive anyone mad." 0

Qi Xiaomian's words were indeed exaggerated; Xuande Emperor had been acting strangely lately, and Qi Xiaomian hoped he wouldn't fixate on Small Tavern. 0

Wasn't it similar to the talk of Auspicious Beasts? All of it was untrustworthy? At least it wasn't as remarkable as rumored. 0

Perhaps it was just childish unpredictability? 0

"But at his age," Qi Xiaomian argued, "I was already quite sensible." 0

Just as he finished speaking, the Little Buddha on stage stumbled and fell. Dressed in layers, he instinctively curled up into a ball and rolled four times before finally coming to a stop. Embarrassed, he covered his eyes with his chubby little hands. 0

The audience erupted in laughter, and even Xuande Emperor couldn't help but chuckle; he truly was just a child. 0

Hearing the laughter made Little Buddha's ears turn red with shame. How embarrassing! He had looked so impressive at the start; Xiaoxiao had even crafted a golden lotus throne for him that could fly low through the air. Coupled with his innate Buddha nature, he was meant to be an otherworldly child who had accidentally wandered into the mortal realm. 0
