Shi Yun recalled the increasingly irritable Xuande Emperor and decided it was better to keep it hidden for now.
He remembered that night when Qi Xiaomian had come to visit, proposing a scheme to stage a robbery on the road and asking for his cooperation. Was there even a choice?
Shi Yun thought the method was too unconventional, but after contemplating all night and failing to come up with a better plan, he decided to go along with this absurd performance.
The personnel and plot were all arranged by Qi Xiaomian. Sang Qingxiao used his unique skills to conceal their whereabouts, while Shi Yun manipulated the court's logistics. Only four people knew about this plan, and with their tacit cooperation, even if the Court dispatched the Dragon Guard, they wouldn’t be discovered.
On their way to court, the two carefully avoided everyone while continuing their conversation.
Shi Yun asked, "You’re robbing money, fine, but why are you also kidnapping people?"

Shi Yun had already wiped the smile off her face. "Royal Tomb, do you want to hear this?"
Mingze felt a sense of resistance but questioned her, "You must be joking. If it really is about Royal Tomb, how could you two possibly be laughing?" He turned to Shi Xiang. "You must have been kneeling so much these past few days that your knees are swollen, right?"
"Why would I care about your knees?" she retorted. "Can't you tell I'm just teasing you?"
