After bidding farewell to Zhang the Inner Servant, Xiao Zan rushed home, only to find his father lounging comfortably. He was swaying in a rocking chair, fishing line dangling in the water, creating ripples without even bothering to reel in a catch. Sipping fragrant tea, he exchanged a few casual remarks with the steward, who was flattering him and making him chuckle.
