"I'll go with you to take a look," Lin Yao said.

With no other choice, they pressed forward into danger.
As they approached, two safety officers stopped to assess the situation.
Various beast roars echoed around them—hisses, growls, and cries of pain filled the air.
"It doesn’t sound like a gathering of beasts led by a leader; it seems more like a brawl," Lin Yao observed.
"Do you think these mutated beasts have discovered some rare treasure and are fighting over it?" Meng Xingchen boldly speculated.
As soon as he said this, all eyes turned toward him.
Startled, Meng Xingchen quickly assumed a defensive posture. "What are you all looking at me for?"
Bai Zhenzhen gave him a thumbs-up. "I’ve noticed that sometimes your brain works pretty fast."
"Of course!" Meng Xingchen puffed up with pride.
Lin Yao turned to the two safety officers. "How do you usually handle situations like this?"
"We rush in and seize the rare treasures," one officer replied.
"And how do you distribute those treasures?" she asked.
"In situations with higher risk factors, we distribute them based on contribution points."
"So we customers who participate in the battle should also be able to earn contribution points, right?" Lin Yao pressed.
The safety officer was at a loss for words, clearly having never encountered such a scenario before.
"Xingchen, contact their base and ask if we can earn contributions by participating in the battle under these circumstances." Lin Yao decided to have Meng Xingchen ask directly, as it was clear that the two safety officers were not in charge.
There were quite a few gathered beasts, and the base clearly wanted to avoid any delays. They were eager to get started.

Amidst the roars of various beasts around them, the group began their assault from the outskirts. Lin Yao's killing speed was noticeably faster than when she had fought against quasi-level beasts before.
The two safety officers watched in disbelief. Previously, they had only seen such combat prowess from the top mercenaries outside on the desolate stars, who dispatched beasts with similar efficiency.
Under Lin Yao's leadership, they crazily harvested a small area of quasi-level beasts. After a while, Lin Yao suddenly stopped.
"What’s wrong, boss?" one of her teammates asked.
"My physical skills are about to level up," she replied. Unfortunately, this was a rather dangerous moment.
Of course, when Lin Yao mentioned danger, she wasn’t referring to herself but rather to her teammates behind her. The risk posed by quasi-level beasts was simply too great for them to handle.
"Then hurry up and start! Leveling up won’t wait for anyone. Don’t worry; we’ll protect you!" Bai Zhenzhen said eagerly as she continued to slay beasts.

Both officers nodded in agreement, promising they would do their best.

Bai Zhenzhen was furious upon hearing this; these people truly were opportunistic. At first, they clung to the captain because of her strong combat ability, but now that danger was imminent, they were quick to flee.

As he spoke, he reached into his spatial pouch and took out a small spherical object, pressing it against the ground near Lin Yao. Instantly, a semi-transparent dome appeared but vanished just as quickly.
Bai Zhenzhen gasped in amazement: Is this the defensive energy shield that your Meng family is about to launch?
