Before long, the two of them were lively and bouncing around after removing the restraints. Given the chaos they had just caused, none of them wanted to linger any longer, so they boarded the starship and headed back to Cloud Dream Star.

The bear-like creature was enormous; once taken out, it occupied the entire courtyard of the villa, its imposing presence astonishing everyone. The three of them stared in disbelief because they had almost lost their lives to this beast not long ago, and now its lifeless body lay before them—a feeling that was truly hard to describe.

Lin Yao tossed him the Meteor Sword. "Be careful; this sword is very sharp."
Dismantling the beast would help them better understand its weaknesses, which would be beneficial for future encounters with similar creatures.
While taking the sword, Lin Yao glanced at her system space and suddenly realized she had mistakenly placed the energy shield there instead of where it belonged. As she intended to retrieve it and put it back in her spatial pocket, she inadvertently activated the energy shield's protective cover.

Meng Xingchen seemed unconcerned and cheerfully continued dismantling the beast. Lin Yao hurriedly opened her system space to examine the stone.

She had guessed correctly; the crystal within the beast was indeed a Star Source Crystal. Moreover, since this was a collective evolution of both flora and fauna, it meant that not only the beasts would evolve but also the exotic plants would likely undergo mass evolution as well. It seemed that plants took longer to evolve, which was why their changes hadn’t manifested yet.
If this were true, then the Zhangxing Adventure Base could be in quite a bit of danger. After pondering for a while, Lin Yao decided to discard this concern and let others worry about it.
Once Meng Xingchen returned her Meteor Sword after dismantling the beast, Lin Yao used it to cut the Isolation Stone into a small box and then placed the Star Source Crystal fragment inside it.
After finishing up, she handed the packaged Star Source Crystal to Meng Xingchen and explained its properties as best as she knew while emphasizing that he must inform Academician Zheng about the potential evolution of exotic plants at Zhangxing Adventure Base.
Thinking for a moment, Lin Yao also took out another piece of Isolation Stone and handed it to Meng Xingchen, suggesting they find a way to use it to create protective gear while studying the Star Source Crystal further.
