Lin Yao nodded, "That's right. You did a great job during our adventure at Zhang Ping's base last time. I hope you can continue to excel in the future."
"Then I'll take charge of post-war organization and selling the spoils. I don't really know how to do much else," Zhang Feng said.
"The team’s potions are usually partially crafted by me, so I might as well take on the rest of the procurement for now. Once we have more people later, I can hand it over to someone else." Zhen Zhen also claimed a position.
"I can help with planning and procurement when the time comes," Meng Xingchen added.
Seeing them all eagerly claiming roles, Wang Jincheng grew anxious. "I can't handle the remaining tasks of information gathering and finances; I only know how to fight!"
"You seem a bit impatient. Why not take charge of information gathering? It will help you work on your temperament," Lin Yao suggested.
"I don’t want to!" he protested.
Before he could argue further, Lin Yao fixed him with a steady gaze. "Choose between finance and information gathering."
At that moment, Wan Xiaoqi spoke up, "I don’t want to handle finances either. If you won’t do information gathering, then I’ll take it on."
"No way! I have even less patience for accounts! If you’re not worried about me messing it up, then fine! But I really have no choice," Wang Jincheng said with a grimace.
"Alright then, Xiaoqi will handle the finances," Lin Yao decided.
"Okay, I'll ask my classmates from the finance department to help create a spreadsheet. We can fill in the data later," Xiaoqi replied.
Lin Yao nodded in agreement.
"Now that we’ve assigned our roles, I hope everyone will take their responsibilities seriously. From now on, we are one team, and I hope we can all get along well over the next three years."

After three days of rest, everyone began to enter a state of learning.
Although there was only one class in the First Middle School's Command Department, it was the flagship program of the First Military Academy, equipped with teachers and resources that were on par with other departments.
There were specialized training rooms for physical skills, tactical command simulations, ability training rooms, and many facilities were exclusive to their class.
The class had a head teacher, various specialized instructors, minor subject teachers, ability instructors, physical training teachers, and office staff—an impressive array of educators that ensured a favorable student-to-teacher ratio.
Most importantly, these teachers were either industry leaders or retired high-ranking military officials; each one had an impressive background.
For instance, their head teacher, Cao Xingyuan, was a retired deputy general from the Expeditionary Forces with the rank of colonel.
Who would have thought that he would end up as a teacher at a mid-level academy? However, the Command Department is truly exceptional. Each student is sharp-minded and possesses formidable combat skills; even extraordinary teachers find it hard to keep them in check.

Wang Jincheng, who usually strutted around with his head held high, immediately chimed in, "The teacher is being too modest. It was us commanding the other schools to take down the beast tide."
"Oh, that's impressive. I happen to have a strategy game here; why don’t you come up and play against me?"
Even Wang Jincheng, despite his lack of common sense, realized he was no match for Cao Xingyuan and quickly backtracked. "Maybe not; that’s just child's play for us."
How could someone who commanded others to defeat a beast tide consider it child's play? "Come on up!"
With no other option, Wang Jincheng reluctantly took the stage and sat down across from the teacher to begin their strategic duel.
This was a simple simulated combat game. Both sides had equal military strength and readiness; all they had to do was defend their own base while simultaneously capturing the opponent's flag or destroying their base to win.
As they battled on stage, the screen behind them displayed the gameplay. Cao Xingyuan explained strategies while positioning his troops. In just five short minutes, he completely destroyed Wang Jincheng's base.
"See? Isn’t this quite simple?"
Looking at Cao Xingyuan’s refined and gentle demeanor, the students from the Command Department could only think to themselves how infuriatingly simple it seemed! Poor Wang Jincheng hadn’t even completed the most basic defense before being wiped out by Cao Xingyuan.
"Is there anyone else willing to come up and play with me?"
The students remained silent, too intimidated to speak.
Cao Xingyuan's gaze landed on Yao Beiluo. "I heard you are the overall commander this time?"
Yao Beiluo shook her head and looked towards Lin Yao, who was seated in the front row. "No, I believe Lin Yao should be the overall commander. She organized everything and then handed over the commander position to me while she went to rescue people at the front."
Cao Xingyuan glanced at Lin Yao, who wore a serious expression, then turned back to Yao Beiluo with a gentle smile. "The fact that she entrusted you with the commander position indicates that you have the capability to maintain order. If you don’t mind, why not come up and let me see your skills?"
Yao Beiluo had no reason to refuse and stepped onto the stage to battle against Cao Xingyuan. Both of them quickly began to strategize, their movements synchronized and rapid. Almost simultaneously, they deployed their troops for combat.
However, Yao Beiluo was far from being a match for Cao Xingyuan. From the very beginning of the battle, it was clear that he was overwhelmed and suffered a swift defeat. As the large letters spelling "FAILURE" appeared on the screen, Yao Beiluo stood up and declared, "I have lost."
"At your age, you are quite capable," Cao Xingyuan remarked. "If Lin Yao can command you, I am even more curious about her abilities."
Cao Xingyuan turned his gaze to Lin Yao in the audience. "Lin Yao, would you like to come up and give it a try?"
Lin Yao confidently approached the podium. "Thank you for your guidance, Teacher. Let's get started!"
Without further ado, the two began their match. As was his habit, Cao Xingyuan first fortified his base before sending out troops. In contrast, Lin Yao's approach was straightforward and aggressive; she unleashed a massive army that pressed down on Cao Xingyuan, preventing his troops from advancing.
"Lin Yao's combat style is quite fierce," Cao Xingyuan remarked as he stole a glance at her, assessing her strategy.
Lin Yao shook her head modestly. "I can't compare to Teacher Cao; your methods are steady and well-planned."
Just then, she noticed a group of Cao Xingyuan's soldiers appearing near her base, likely preparing for a stealthy flag capture. The battle intensified, igniting the enthusiasm of the students watching below.
Initially, it seemed that with this unexpected troop deployment, Cao Xingyuan would easily secure victory. However, Lin Yao had anticipated this move and had laid an ambush for his soldiers at their landing point, executing a trap that decimated them.
As it appeared victory was within Lin Yao's grasp, an explosion suddenly rocked her base. "I lost," she said with disbelief.
Cao Xingyuan chuckled and pointed to Lin Yao's soldiers who had almost succeeded in their stealth attack on his base. "You did well; if it weren't for that explosion, my base would have been destroyed."
