After giving a rough explanation, Lin Yao didn’t give Academician Zheng another chance to ask questions. She handed him a portion of the potion formulas and weapon blueprints that she had already deciphered from the sign-in points.
“This is a formula and some blueprints; you can take them for research,” she said.
If it weren’t for the limited sign-in points she had on hand, she would have truly wanted to bring out everything from the unified space to rapidly elevate the technological level of Yunmeng Star. After passing all the information to Academician Zheng, Lin Yao dove into Zhao Chuan’s research lab to continue her studies on the combination of fine silk and matrices. During her time on that planet, she discovered that Yao Beiluo had an exceptional talent for matrices and brought him into her experimental team so they could accelerate their research together.
Before taking her exams, Lin Yao familiarized herself with the layout methods of energy matrices using the blueprints and insights provided by Academician Zheng. Through studying the natural elemental matrix of the underground giant stones, she gained a deeper understanding of matrices.
With Yao Beiluo’s assistance in their research, they quickly derived a defensive matrix using energy matrices. Lin Yao’s initial idea was to combine the defensive matrix with the non-attribute characteristics of fine silk to design a lightweight yet highly protective suit.
Once the defensive matrix was completed, she eagerly inscribed it onto the clothing made from fine silk. It was much easier to carve matrices onto flat surfaces than on the irregular heads of strange beasts. Lin Yao and Yao Beiluo quickly finished inscribing the matrix.
After embedding elemental crystals into it, the defensive matrix indeed lit up on the clothing. The two tested its defensive strength and found it quite impressive.
They then attempted to engrave the energy matrix onto clothing. It must be said that the non-attributive characteristics of the fine silk were a perfect match for various matrices.
