They all chimed in with their agreement, but no one seemed to hit the nail on the head until Yao Beiluo spoke up: "In the past, what we exchanged from Yunmeng Star often turned out to be worthless junk. Although this exchange isn't entirely equal, acquiring key technology is what truly matters."
With that explanation, Lin Yao understood. It seemed they had grown accustomed to being suppressed before; now that someone was showing them a bit of goodwill, they couldn't help but feel elated.

"We can exchange, but does anyone here understand spatial technology?"

"Well, Captain, you could negotiate with them and wait until we meet up with Academician Zheng before making any trades," someone else proposed.

After discussing with her teammates, Lin Yao approached Su Rui and informed him of her decision to wait until they regrouped with Academician Zheng before proceeding with any transactions.
Su Rui disagreed. "You need to think this through. Academician Zheng and his team can only appear on Xiaoxing; trading here on Lans Star is much safer. Our transactions are confidential, but whether we can bring anything back to Yunmeng Star after trading is a matter of luck."
Lin Yao countered, "If trading here doesn't guarantee that we can bring things back to Yunmeng Star, then what's the difference?"
"Of course it doesn't guarantee that," Su Rui admitted.
"Then why does it matter where we trade?"
Unable to convince Lin Yao otherwise, Su Rui could only return reluctantly.
Soon, the Turing Potion Summit was approaching, and the Lancelot Academy was preparing to lead a team to the Little Star.
After staying at a hotel on Lancelot for over a week, the Mingguang team, which had been under various restrictions, finally felt a sense of relief. "Do you need me to help you change hotels?" Su Rui asked.
"No need; we’ll only be staying for a few nights," she said dismissively.
Since Lin Yao seemed unfazed by it all, Su Rui didn’t press further and quickly led the Mingguang team to meet Academician Zheng.
After exchanging pleasantries upon meeting, Lin Yao got straight to the point. "Academician Zheng, there’s something I need to discuss with you. I’ve made a deal with Su Rui's school and need someone knowledgeable about space technology to participate in this transaction. Do you have anyone on your side who fits that description?"
Hearing this, Academician Zheng instantly perked up with interest. "What kind of transaction are we talking about?"
I exchanged the formula for a high-purity elemental crystal and brain domain development agent for basic spatial technology with the Lance School. Lin Yao tried to keep her explanation concise.
"Spatial technology? You actually managed to get spatial technology?" Academician Zheng responded, shocked and incredulous.
Seeing that Su Rui was still present, Lin Yao quickly cleared her throat, reminding him to calm down. "Academician Zheng, please don't get too excited yet. Let's wait until we have the spatial technology in hand."
"Right, right," Academician Zheng hurriedly took a deep breath. "Where are we going to make the trade?"
Su Rui stepped forward. "Our principal has entrusted me with full authority for this transaction."
"To you?" Academician Zheng looked at him skeptically. "Do you understand potions?"
Su Rui smiled knowingly. "I believe that given the strength of Yunmeng Star, they probably don't have the guts to come after us just yet."
Academician Zheng was momentarily speechless.
Lin Yao couldn't bear to see Academician Zheng feeling down, so she quickly said, "Since you're here, let's take out the items."
As she spoke, she retrieved several large boxes and an electronic reader from her space storage and placed them in front of Su Rui. "These are our trade items. Please take out what you want to trade so we can verify everything."
Su Rui pulled out a very small item from his space storage and handed it to Lin Yao. Then he received the items she had brought into his own space storage. "My items are here; feel free to inspect them. As for yours, I won’t bother checking."
Lin Yao glanced at him but said nothing, quickly handing over the items to Academician Zheng.

"The materials are for you; whether you can take them back depends on your own abilities," Su Rui said lazily after completing the transaction.
"The previous items relied on human memory. If this time it doesn't work out, then we'll have to rely on human memory again."
Hearing this, Su Rui looked at her in disbelief. "Do you know how many years spatial technology has been developed?"
