Upon hearing Lin Yao's words, everyone felt a surge of joy, and no one thought that life in the Fate Space was difficult anymore. Each person began to eagerly train their mental strength and enhance their talents. Even Yu Mi, who had been immersed in the data realm, frequently participated in this activity.
However, life is rarely without its disappointments. Just when everyone was feeling happy, unexpected events began to unfold.
"Have you all noticed that the resilience of the space barrier seems to have weakened?" Wan Xiaoqi said casually.
"Is that so? I thought it was just my mental strength improving too much," Bai Zhenzhen replied.
Lin Yao had already sensed the weakening of the space barrier but chose not to mention it. With her foundation in mental abilities, she hadn't made significant progress during this time, so her perception was particularly keen.

At this point, there was no need for concealment. She replied, "I suspect that its lifespan is indeed coming to an end. You all should focus on improving your abilities; that way, even if we fall into the Chaos Nebula, we will have a better chance of survival."
"Captain, you can't be joking," Bai Zhenzhen interjected. "Throughout history, how many people have entered the Chaos Nebula? No one has ever come back alive."
"Just because no one has returned doesn't mean they are all dead," Lin Yao countered.
Hearing her say this, the members of the squad gathered curiously around her. "Captain, what do you mean by that?"
"After observing the Chaos Nebula for so long, haven't you noticed anything?" she asked.
"Noticed what?" Their eyes widened with curiosity as they focused on her.
"Our Fate Space encounters various things during its flow—like flowers and plants, as well as exotic species. Many of these flowers and plants are still alive and thriving within the Chaos Nebula."
Wang Jincheng quickly chimed in, "So that means the Chaos Nebula doesn't consume life!"
I believe the terrifying aspect of the Chaotic Nebula lies in its powerful magnetic attraction. The problem is, we don't know where that magnetic pull leads. Therefore, everyone should strive to enhance their strength a bit more; even if we fall into the Chaotic Nebula, we might have a better chance of survival!
Danger loomed ahead, and from then on, everyone worked harder with a sense of urgency.
By the twelfth month, Lin Yao felt that the resilience of the life barrier was diminishing like a deflating balloon. She estimated that this one-time life space had a lifespan of about a year.
In the final days of their life space, cracks began to appear on the barrier. Lin Yao knew the time had come.
She quickly instructed everyone to prepare their gear before setting off for the Galactic Alliance, ensuring they had everything ready at hand. To prevent any issues with the spatial constraints in the Chaotic Nebula, she also advised everyone to carry some nutritional supplements with them.
With everything in place, they were all prepared to seek survival within the Chaotic Nebula.
However, fate had other plans.
Wang Jincheng expressed his desire to experience the outside world one last time and extended his mental power beyond the life space. Before long, he anxiously reported, "Captain, I’ve spotted a black sphere not far away. I think it might be a planet."
How could that be possible?
In the Chaotic Nebula, larger objects were harder to survive. Something as massive as a starship could easily be torn apart by magnetic forces; how could a planet withstand it?
Despite their skepticism, everyone extended their mental powers beyond the life space.
Sure enough, they soon observed a massive black object within their line of sight.
It was real—a planet!
Eight people and ten eyes confirmed it; hope had emerged.
There was hope, but it was slim.
Bai Zhenzhen lamented slightly, "It's a pity our life space only has two days left. I'm afraid we won't make it to that planet in time!"
Lin Yao pondered for a moment and said, "I have an idea."
"What idea?" Bai Zhenzhen asked excitedly.
"I've noticed that as larger objects get closer to that planet, their speed increases. We are still a few days away from it. I think if I pilot my mech out there and accelerate towards that planet while dealing with the ruptured life space, we might just reach it before our life space completely collapses!"
At that moment, although the life space hadn't entirely shattered yet, several large gaps had already formed, and air was slowly leaking out from within.
There was a small opening just big enough for a person to squeeze through.
As soon as she finished speaking, Yao Beiluo immediately objected, "No way! Captain, that's too dangerous!"
"Exactly," another voice chimed in. "You just said that the closer we get to that planet, the faster the gravitational acceleration increases. The danger is obviously greater."
Everyone began to voice their concerns, all opposing Lin Yao's plan.
"I think this is the best option," Lin Yao insisted. "If we wait until the space collapses, the chances of all of us dying together are much higher. It's better for me to take a little risk; maybe we can still survive together."
"But—"
"There’s no time! If we hesitate any longer, we’ll all die!" Lin Yao said fiercely.
Yao Beiluo was left speechless, watching helplessly as she squeezed through the crack.
Before she exited, Lin Yao turned back and said, "Everyone, I hope we can all make it out alive!"
Once outside the collapsing space, Lin Yao quickly retrieved her mech from the spatial pocket and climbed inside, gripping the miniaturized space in her mech's palm.
She swiftly activated the mech's acceleration and charged toward the dark planet.
