During the meeting that evening, Yao Zhengqi brought this matter up and asked for the opinions of the team members.
Except for a couple of individuals who were concerned about Koqi's strength, everyone else expressed their agreement.
"Lin Yao, what do you think about this?"
Lin Yao was taken aback that Yao Zhengqi would ask for her opinion in public. After a moment of hesitation, she replied, "I think discussing any conditions is pointless. We can only talk about the next steps after we’ve seen the actual ship."
"If they can negotiate a deal, do you really think they would agree to let us see the starship first?" Tang Zhengsu was not very confident.
"If his bottom line is just to go out and talk, trust me, he will agree to any conditions." Lin Yao said with confidence.
Yao Zhengqi nodded in agreement. "Alright then, let’s find two people who understand starships to go check out that legendary satellite-class starship tomorrow. Lin Yao, I can’t get involved, so I’ll leave all the trading matters in your hands!"
Lin Yao saluted. "No problem, Captain!"
The next day, Lin Yao went to Area One alone without bringing any other members from the Mingguang Squad or the Special Operations Team; she only took two researchers from the Special Operations Team with her.
When Koqi heard that people from Area Three had arrived, he immediately sent someone to bring them over.
Seeing that it was Lin Yao, he showed no surprise. "What does your Captain Yao mean by this?"
"We want to take a look at your starship first." Lin Yao stated bluntly.
Koqi glanced at the two researchers behind her and scoffed, "With just them, do you think they can recognize a satellite-class starship?"
Lin Yao was not affected by his mockery at all; she remained calm. "Whether they can recognize it or not is our concern. As long as you take us to see it and we confirm it, we can naturally discuss the next steps for trading."
Koqi was somewhat irritated by her calm demeanor but took a deep breath to keep his temper in check. "Since you’re so skeptical, I’ll take you to have a look!"
He then led them through a series of twists and turns until they finally entered a building.
Once inside, he pressed a mechanism in one of the rooms, and a deep staircase appeared on the floor. "The starship is down there," Koqi said before leading the way down the stairs.
Lin Yao exchanged glances with the two researchers and reassured them, "It’ll be fine; don’t worry!"
The staircase wound downward for what felt like an eternity until they finally reached a cavernous space below and saw a massive starship.
Though the starship was dilapidated, it did nothing to hide its overwhelming presence and imposing aura like that of a colossal giant.
"This starship is so massive; how did it end up so deep underground?" a researcher sighed.
"More importantly, with the hardness of the black porcelain soil, who has the capability to quietly excavate such a large cavity and hide the starship here without anyone noticing?"
Koch glanced at the two researchers with disdain. "This is a satellite-class starship. It can travel in space, delve deep underground, and navigate underwater without any issues. It's an incredibly powerful amphibious starship."
The two researchers were not deterred by Koch's contempt; instead, they were particularly excited. "A satellite-class starship is so impressive and multifunctional! What other capabilities does it have?"
Koch relished their flattery and patiently answered some of their questions. However, it was clear that he didn't know as much about this starship as they imagined. When pressed for details, he couldn't respond and could only mask his ignorance with impatience. "If you want to know more, you'll just have to go up and see for yourselves."
Using his iris, Koch unlocked the starship's hatch and gestured for Lin Yao and the others to enter. "If you're curious about this starship, then let's go take a look."
The two researchers could hardly contain their excitement; as soon as the door opened, they darted inside with a whoosh. Lin Yao hurried to follow.
As soon as she stepped through the hatch, the system announced: "Check-in point detected: [Hatu No. 1 Satellite-Class Starship]. Would you like to check in at this point?"
Seeing that her recent encounters with check-in points had all increased her check-in points, Lin Yao felt a bit of a headache. After upgrading, her daily bonus points had risen from a few to several. The daily mission points had also increased along with the difficulty of the tasks. With both blueprints open side by side for comparison, Lin Yao discovered that they likely originated from the same source. Upon closer inspection, she realized that there might be some connections between these items in terms of certain principles related to matrices.
However, with Koch present, Lin Yao couldn't delve deeper into her research and had to set it aside for now.

To achieve the level of a satellite-class starship, the fundamental requirement lies in various defensive shields, not just the starship itself.
Koch didn’t give the two researchers much time to explore; he simply showed them the control room briefly before leading them downstairs.

Lin Yao remained calm. “Boss Koch, regarding the cooperation discussions, Captain Yao has entrusted me with full authority.”

Lin Yao nodded.
“Then go ahead and tell me how we can cooperate.”
“Why don’t you start, Boss Koch? What are your requirements? We can discuss our cooperation from there.”
