Everyone exchanged glances, and a shared thought emerged in their minds. It seemed that Yu Miaoyin's memories were stuck in the past, leaving her unaware of what had transpired since.
Ye Xiuyuan's face turned pale, and he looked as if he might collapse at any moment. He forced a smile. "Senior Sister, please don't joke with me like this."
Yu Miaoyin shot him an annoyed glare. "Who’s joking with you?"
When she woke up, her fellow sisters informed her that they had another junior brother now. But Master had clearly stated that Xiao was her closed-door disciple. Where did this Ye Xiuyuan come from, capable of making Master change her mind?

Lan Wanyu sighed softly.

Upon hearing the details of what happened, Yu Miaoyin shouted in disbelief. "How could this be? Since it was Xiao who found that item, why should he bear the consequences? Even if you're his junior brother, you have no right to take it from him!"
Ye Xiuyuan hesitated for a moment before replying, "Third Senior Sister, I didn't take anything by force; it's just that Master was too worried..."
Yu Miaoyin shot him an angry glare. "You shut your mouth! Is Master doing this not because of you? You think hiding behind others and saying a few words will absolve you of responsibility?"

"Let’s take it one step at a time," Su Lingyue replied quietly as she turned to gaze at Ye Xiuyuan. "Ye Junior Brother, you shouldn’t visit your Third Senior Sister for a while."
Ye Xiuyuan was taken aback for a moment before responding softly and lowering his head, lost in thought.
