Seeing this scene, the man tugged at his tie and tossed it aside.
Lying on the bed, Yuan Xiao kept her eyes open, gripping the water knife tightly as she sensed the man approaching closer behind her.
Meanwhile, downstairs, Lin Yuan arrived by taxi and immediately realized that entering through the front door would be impossible with the guards stationed there. He had to resort to a more clumsy method.
Before long, he found a wall to climb over. There were surveillance cameras nearby, but that didn't concern Lin Yuan much. As long as he found her, that was all that mattered.
