"Thank you, Grandma! If you really want to thank me, just make sure to get me some food. And remember to let Zhuzi cook; your cooking skills aren't quite up to par!" 0

In the dead of night, everyone in the courtyard had fallen into a deep slumber. In the Jia household, Si Geng carefully climbed out of bed. Qin Huairu, groggy from sleep, asked, "Si Geng, why aren't you sleeping? Where are you going?" 0

"Mom, my stomach hurts. I'm just going to the bathroom!" Si Geng replied, clutching his stomach as he opened the door. 0

"Be careful in the dark; watch your step so you don't trip!" Qin Huairu cautioned. 0

"I know," Si Geng replied dismissively as he hurried away. 0

Once he reached the front courtyard, Si Geng stopped in his tracks. He found a stone and approached Wang Jiefang's window, muttering under his breath, "You blind fool! Not only do you refuse to give me meat, but you also dare to bully my grandma? I'll smash your windows!" 0

As Si Geng got closer to Wang Jiefang's house, Wang Jiefang woke up. Thinking that this kid was just passing by on his way to the bathroom, he was startled to hear the muttering and decided he couldn't let him break his windows. 0

With a mental push, Wang Jiefang put Si Geng into a trance. Holding the stone, Si Geng turned and headed towards the central courtyard. Moments later, several sounds of shattering glass echoed through the night. 0

After Si Geng left, Qin Huairu managed to drift back to sleep. However, she felt as though she had just closed her eyes when she heard the sound of glass breaking in her home. A stone landed right next to her bed, nearly hitting her on the head. Qin Huairu broke out in a cold sweat! 0

Then she heard two more sounds of glass shattering and recognized Zhuzi's furious shout: "Who? Which bastard dares to break my windows?" 0

Alongside Zhuzi's voice, she also heard Uncle Da's angry tone: "Who is it? Breaking windows in the middle of the night? Is there no decency left?" 0

With her own windows shattered, Qin Huairu couldn't care less about sleeping. She quickly got up and rushed outside, determined to catch whoever dared to vandalize her home and make them pay for it! 0

As she stepped out, she saw Uncle Da storming out of his house with a dark expression on his face. Across from him, Zhuzi also emerged from his home! 0

Yi Zhonghai was seething with anger; he had just been scolded by Director Wang during the day and now found his own windows smashed at night. Was this some kind of provocation because they saw him being reprimanded? Did they think he was an easy target? 0

The three of them stepped out and began scanning their surroundings. At that moment, they spotted someone standing in the central courtyard who threw something into the air—another piece of Zhuzi's window shattered! 0

Zhuzi's fury intensified; he charged forward with all his might and kicked out: "Damn you! Do you dare break my windows again?" 0

Zhuzi was incredibly strong; this kick was fueled by all his rage. Si Geng barely had time to let out a scream before he passed out! 0

Hearing that scream sent a chill down Qin Huairu's spine as she rushed toward the courtyard. At that moment, Yi Zhonghai also ran over! 0

When Qin Huairu reached the spot where Si Geng had fallen, she recognized his familiar clothes and felt darkness closing in around her: "Si Geng! My son! What happened to you?" 0

Qin Huairu clutched Sige tightly and began to cry mournfully. When Yi Zhonghai approached and heard her sobs, he was taken aback by the sight of the person lying on the ground. 0

Shazhu, seeing his sister Qin embracing the person he had kicked, felt a surge of panic. He rushed over, and upon closer inspection, he realized it was indeed Sige! 0
