Upon seeing that Sha Zhu was in so much pain he couldn't stand, the four of them quickly found a cart to take him to the hospital.
As Yi Zhonghai was about to leave the hospital, he thought about going home for dinner before heading to work and also helping Qin Huairu request another day off. There was no way he could stay at the hospital to accompany Bang Geng all the time!
Just as he entered the lobby, he ran into Sha Zhu. "Zhu, what happened to you?"
Seeing Sha Zhu curled up on the cart with a pained expression, Yi Zhonghai hurried over to ask. When the four who brought Sha Zhu saw an older man approaching, they greeted Yi Zhonghai and quickly left.
Yi Zhonghai ignored the fleeing four and asked Sha Zhu again. With a face full of agony, Sha Zhu replied, "It's nothing, old man. I fell victim to that blind guy! Next time, I'll make him pay!"
Noticing that Sha Zhu was sweating profusely from the pain, Yi Zhonghai quickly called for a doctor.
Soon, Sha Zhu was taken to the treatment room. Yi Zhonghai realized that Sha Zhu had gone looking for trouble with Wang Jiefang but ended up getting beaten instead. This guy really was useless; he couldn't even handle a blind man! Yi Zhonghai began to feel a bit frustrated with Sha Zhu's incompetence.
Inside the treatment room, the doctor immediately asked, "What happened? Where does it hurt?"
Sha Zhu wanted to cover his groin but felt embarrassed in front of so many doctors, especially since it was a female doctor asking him!
"Could you find a male doctor for me?"
The female doctor glanced at him expressionlessly and said, "In medicine, there is no distinction between genders. Now tell me where it hurts; I have other patients to attend to!"
Feeling a sharp pain in his groin, Sha Zhu instinctively covered it and turned pale. The doctor quickly noticed his condition: "So you've injured your groin? How did it happen? Take off your pants so I can take a look!"
"Doctor, can we skip taking off my pants? Just give me some painkillers!" Sha Zhu clutched his pants tightly; after all, he was a man—how could he take them off in front of a woman?
The doctor looked at him impatiently; she had seen many patients like him before. She ordered the nurses, "Take off his pants! How am I supposed to assess your injury and treat you without seeing it?"
With the combined effort of two nurses, Sha Zhu's pants were eventually pulled down, and his face turned beet red!
The doctor examined his groin while wearing gloves and carefully checked it. Sha Zhu even felt her squeeze his testicles a couple of times, causing cold sweat to pour down his face as he couldn't help but let out a muffled groan!
The sudden pain made him forget about his embarrassment!
"You've sustained external trauma to your testicles causing swelling. Don't worry; there’s no serious issue with them. I'll prescribe some anti-inflammatory medication for you; just take it for a few days and you'll be fine!"
Once the examination was over, Sha Zhu hurriedly got up to put on his pants. Taking advantage of the moment, he glanced at his little brother and saw that indeed it had swollen quite a bit! Thankfully, his "gun barrel" was still intact!
After putting on his pants, Sha Zhu said to the doctor, "Doctor, can you check my right foot too? It hurts quite a lot as well as my armpit!"
As soon as he took off his shoe, the smell made the doctor and nurses frown slightly, but they didn't say anything. The doctor examined Sha Zhu's foot: "Nope, it's just external trauma causing swelling; there's nothing wrong with your bones!"
She then glanced at the darkened area under the armpit of the foolish pillar, frowning as she observed the bruise. "There's nothing here, just a bit of discoloration," she remarked.
