Shazhu had been keeping an eye on the situation at Qin Huairu's house all along. How could he not know about the arrival of such a lively person like Qin Jingru? When he heard her calling for her sister, he realized she must be the cousin Qin Huairu often mentioned!
Thinking about how Qin Huairu promised to introduce her cousin to him, Shazhu quickly tidied himself up and rushed over to Qin Huairu's house.

Hearing this, Jia Zhangshi muttered under her breath: "Tsk! Shameless hussy, are you so eager to find a man?"
Qin Jingru’s face turned red from Jia Zhangshi’s words; she was still quite shy and didn’t know how to respond to such a shrewish woman!
