Meanwhile, Yi's wife was deeply worried about her husband. He had said he was going out for drinks with friends; usually, he'd be back by now. Why was he taking so long? What if something happened on the way?
She quickly dismissed the thought—how could anything happen? He probably got drunk and stayed over at a friend's place! Honestly, didn't she tell him to drink less?
That night, Yi's wife couldn't sleep well. When dawn broke and she saw her husband still hadn't returned, she decided to go look for him at his friend's house.
"Oh? Why is Mrs. Yi out so early?" Yan Bu Gui greeted her while washing up at the entrance.
Yi's wife forced a smile and headed out when Yan Bu Gui suddenly asked her, "Hey! By the way, Mrs. Yi, did Old Yi not come back after drinking last night?"
