Wang Jiefang had long anticipated the reactions of these people, and his keen perception noticed that some of them, including Yan Jiefang, had eyes that began to flicker. He knew they were up to no good! He didn't want to deal with them any longer; after all, he was about to cut ties with them anyway.

Yi Zhonghai, overhearing this, scoffed, “Ha! Want to go for a meal? That’s easy enough! Come Sunday, when everyone in our courtyard is off work, we’ll all head to Wang the Blind’s restaurant. I don’t believe he’ll dare refuse us!”
“But what if we actually go and he still doesn’t let us eat?” someone worriedly asked Yi Zhonghai. After all, from what they knew about Wang Jiefang, he wasn’t someone who easily yielded!
“If he doesn’t let us eat, then we’ll make a scene! The patrons at his restaurant are all influential people, right? We’ll show them what kind of person Wang the Blind really is. I don’t believe that once they see his true colors, they’ll still want to dine there!”
“Who knows? Maybe by then, Wang the Blind’s restaurant won’t be able to stay open! At the very least, we can make him lose face in front of those wealthy patrons!”
It had to be said that Yi Zhonghai's idea was quite devious, but the people in the courtyard thought it was a good plan! Truly fitting for a group living together in such a den of beasts!

The reason for such severe punishment surely had something to do with Wang Jiefang’s influence!
The people in the courtyard initially felt unlucky just being collectively arrested; however, upon their release, they were met with the grim news of their factory penalties!

When Yi Zhonghai learned that his pension had been revoked, he felt utterly defeated and dazed. In his moment of despair, he was kicked down by an enraged member of the courtyard!
The crowd began venting all their anger on Yi Zhonghai! If it weren’t for Director Zheng arriving with some people upon hearing the news, Yi Zhonghai might have been beaten to death by them!
