Inside the villa, Guo Xue sat on the sofa, looking at Zheng Keke and asked, "Is there a girl chasing Lin Fan at school?"
Zheng Keke glanced at Guo Xue with curiosity and replied, "Yes, there was one this afternoon."
Upon hearing this, Guo Xue immediately became anxious and asked, "Did Lin Fan agree?"
"No," Zheng Keke pouted her lips and said, "Mom, let me tell you, Lin Fan is silly and really quite foolish."
Hehe.
Guo Xue rolled her eyes and said, "Hmph, he's much smarter than you think."
Guo Xue began to ponder. What should they do to entertain Lin Fan this time? Perhaps they could treat him to a lavish meal! An expensive one at that. After all, he certainly deserved it for tutoring Zheng Keke every day and being so busy.
As her mother, she couldn't let him feel undervalued, could she?
The next morning, Lin Fan went to school as usual. However, Li Yuer had taken a leave of absence due to a sprained ankle. She couldn’t walk for long periods.
When Lin Fan arrived at the school gate, he saw Zheng Keke coming toward him. He instinctively glanced at the Benz parked nearby.
The Mercedes cars were nowhere to be seen.
Lin Fan sighed and thought to himself: Aunt Guo Xue has run away. Not a trace left behind. Today, Lin Fan's luck seemed to have returned to normal.
He walked over to Zheng Keke and greeted her, "Good morning."
Zheng Keke smiled back, "Good morning, Master."
With that, the two of them headed upstairs.
On the staircase, Lin Fan spotted Yang Liu, who was dressed in a short skirt and black stockings, exuding an air of elegance and grace. Today, Lin Fan's fortune seemed to be back on track.
"Good morning, Teacher," he said.
Yang Liu looked over at Lin Fan and replied, "Good morning."
Lin Fan took a classic novel out of his backpack and handed it to Yang Liu, saying, "Teacher, I've finished reading it."
"Great," Yang Liu smiled. "Come to my office."
"Okay."
Thus, Lin Fan followed Yang Liu into her office. She sat down in her chair and pulled out another classic novel, handing it to Lin Fan as she said, "Here you go."
Lin Fan accepted it and replied, "Thank you, Teacher."
Yang Liu smiled warmly.
Lin Fan glanced at Yang Liu's little thunder and then headed outside. Yang Liu was taken aback, lowering her head in contemplation. She thought to herself,
"Is it just my imagination? Do young boys nowadays appreciate beautiful girls? Hmph, it seems I’m the one who’s out of touch!"
Upon returning to the classroom, Lin Fan began to read. During class, if Zheng Ke Ke had any questions, Lin Fan would specifically help her out. Before long, night fell without them noticing. Lin Fan packed his backpack and headed downstairs.
When he reached the classroom door, a tall boy blocked his path and said, "Lin Fan, I want to challenge you to a duel."
Lin Fan looked at the boy and asked, "Do I know you?"
"I know you; you're Zheng Ke Ke's boyfriend."
Zheng Ke Ke stood next to Lin Fan, her cheeks flushed as she said, "No, what are you talking about? Li Kai."
Lin Fan turned to Zheng Ke Ke and said, "You know him? You handle this."
