Jiang Chen first called Ye Ming, informing her that she no longer needed to go to work and could focus on her training at Quiet Villa. He had decided to make Quiet Villa a dedicated training ground. Naturally, Ye Ming was delighted to receive the call from her master; the idea of using his villa for training was beyond her expectations. As for work, it was always secondary for Ye Ming.
Curious about her master's experiences in Southwest Province, Ye Ming asked Jiang Chen about his gains there. He briefly shared some details before ending the call.
Next, Jiang Chen called Chen Zhi. Although Chen Zhi was older, he was still one of Jiang Chen's disciples. Jiang Chen instructed him to leave Gusu and move to Shanghai, where he could concentrate on his training at Quiet Villa. Chen Zhi readily agreed.
Jiang Chen then reached out to Ye Xinru, considering that both Ye Ming and Chen Zhi were connected to her. During the call, Jiang Chen explained his decision to turn the Ye Family's Quiet Villa in Shanghai into a dedicated training ground and requested that both disciples reside there long-term for their training.
Ye Xinru held great respect and gratitude for Jiang Chen, and she had no objections to his arrangements. Suddenly inspired, she said over the phone, "Mr. Jiang, since you believe Quiet Villa is a good place for training, why not let me gift you that villa?"
"Alright, thank you very much, President Ye!" Jiang Chen replied without hesitation. To him, a villa was not a significant matter; however, having it under his name would make it easier for others to reside there.
"Mr. Jiang, there's no need to be so polite with me!" Ye Xinru said happily upon hearing his acceptance.
After hanging up with Ye Xinru, Jiang Chen called Lin Yin. After moving into Huafei Villa, Lin Yin initially intended to take on the role of "mistress," but soon realized that Jiang Chen was quite oblivious and ended up acting more like a caretaker and secretary. After the New Year, as Jiang Chen became less involved with his company and often absent, Lin Yin's role shifted primarily to managing the place while her secretarial duties diminished entirely.
Having helped Jiang Chen significantly and showing potential herself, Jiang Chen considered her one of his disciples as well. He called to invite Lin Yin to Shanghai so she could live at Quiet Villa and focus on her training.
Though unable to be his girlfriend, Lin Yin was thrilled at the prospect of being one of Jiang Chen's disciples since he was not an ordinary person and not just anyone could be his disciple.
"What will happen to Huafei Villa?" Lin Yin reminded him.
"You don't need to worry about that; I hardly go back anymore. Just give it away," Jiang Chen replied casually over the phone. For him, it was easy enough to find another place to stay.
Jiang Chen planned to gift Huafei Villa to Teacher Gong. Teacher Gong was already married; his wife Wang Huanhuan came from a well-off family and had bought a house. However, this meant that Wang Huanhuan would likely be more dominant at home. By giving Huafei Villa to Teacher Gong, his status within the household would undoubtedly rise.
In the evening, after dinner, Liu Xifang invited Jiang Chen for tea while Liu Pingping and Yang Er joined them at the tea table. They were filled with curiosity about Jiang Chen; his abilities seemed beyond what any ordinary person could achieve.
Despite their many questions swirling in their minds, they hesitated to ask him directly.
"You’re all quite curious about me, aren’t you?" Jiang Chen suddenly spoke up with a calm tone and a hint of a smile on his face.
"Uh, a little," Liu Xifang admitted awkwardly.
"Put away your curiosity; in due time, you will find out," Jiang Chen said.
