She widened her eyes, staring at Su Chen in disbelief. Originally, she had deliberately chosen not to inform him for his safety, but she never expected him to come looking for her.
With a sigh of resignation, Jiang Wanyue thought to herself, Now we’re both going to die here. She didn’t realize that after Su Chen's appearance, her concern should have been for someone else.
"Haha, so you’re Jiang Wanyue’s lover! You really are deep in love, even willing to die together," Xu Hu sneered as he recognized Su Chen's identity. The weight that had been hanging over his heart finally lifted, and he couldn’t help but let out a cold laugh.
His gaze toward Su Chen was filled with disdain and contempt, as if Su Chen were nothing more than an insignificant insect. According to their investigation, Su Chen was only a Two-Star Master, which meant nothing to him as a Peak Master!
"Are you done talking? You can go now," Su Chen said flatly.
Hearing this, Xu Hu raised an eyebrow. "What a big tone! Have you ever heard of Xu Hu?"
"Is that your name? Xu Hu?" But in the next moment, without any further ado, Su Chen delivered a powerful punch right onto Xu Hu's head.
Bang!
In an instant, Xu Hu’s burly body flew backward like a cannonball.
"Ouch!" Xu Hu crashed heavily to the ground, letting out a pained groan. He felt dizzy, stars dancing before his eyes, and his head buzzing.
When he reached up to touch his face, he discovered that his entire face was cracked open, blood gushing out like a fountain.
Seeing this scene, the two helpers beside him couldn’t help but gasp in shock, a chill creeping into their hearts. However, they quickly snapped out of their astonishment and realized the situation was dire. One of them shouted urgently, "Let’s attack together and take this kid down first!"
Without hesitation, both of them launched their attacks at Su Chen. At that moment, Xu Hu stood up again; his arms shook violently as a massive tiger shadow appeared behind him.
"Tiger Fury Palm!" Xu Hu emanated a terrifying aura, resembling a ferocious tiger as he lunged toward Su Chen.
Faced with the onslaught from the crowd, a glint of cold determination flashed in Su Chen's eyes.
"Jiu You Yan, go!"
As Su Chen spoke, a surge of black flames erupted from his body, swirling around him. In the next moment, the two individuals who had attempted to approach him didn't even have time to touch the flames before their bodies melted away in an instant under the intense heat, dissipating into wisps of white mist.
Thud!
A dull thud echoed as Xu Hu watched the scene unfold, his face turning as pale as paper. He collapsed onto the ground in shock. In just a heartbeat, Su Chen had effortlessly killed two third-tier Xing Zongshi. This overwhelming power made Xu Hu realize that Su Chen was no ordinary person.
"I can take you to find the Black Dragon; please don’t kill me," Xu Hu stammered, his voice trembling with fear. His eyes were filled with desperation as he immediately knelt on the ground, repeatedly bowing his head towards Su Chen.
"Lead the way!" Su Chen replied coldly, his tone leaving no room for doubt.
Hearing Su Chen's words, Xu Hu lowered his head, a cold smile creeping onto his lips. He felt a surge of joy within; this kid was just a naive fool who had no idea about the true power of the Black Dragon Gang Leader. It was important to note that the Black Dragon Gang Leader was a genuine Grandmaster. By bringing them before him, Xu Hu could easily absolve himself of any responsibility.
With this thought in mind, Xu Hu felt slightly more relaxed but still dared not show any signs of negligence. He respectfully stood up and cautiously led Su Chen towards the headquarters of the Black Dragon Gang.
