The return journey felt much easier. Emily clutched the cake recipe left by her grandmother, a warm smile unconsciously spreading across her face. She sensed that her adventure was not about forgetting something, but rather about gaining a deeper understanding and appreciation. The moonlight bathed her in a wonderful comfort and strength. 0

“Wait!” Pipi suddenly stopped, eyes scanning the surroundings. “Did you hear that?” 0

A strange sound drifted from afar, like the wind weaving through the leaves, yet also reminiscent of some instrument playing, soft and melodic. 0

“It’s the moon singing,” Mr. Moon’s voice came from behind them, gentle and mysterious. “She is bidding you farewell.” 0

Emily, Pipi, and Lulu turned almost in unison to see Mr. Moon standing behind them, wearing that familiar smile. 0

“Mr. Moon!” the three exclaimed together, their voices filled with surprise and gratitude. 0

“I knew you could do it, especially you, Emily,” Mr. Moon said with a smile directed at her. “Your choice has moved even the moon.” 0

A blush crept onto Emily's cheeks as she lowered her head and replied softly, “I just followed my heart, just as my grandmother taught me.” 0

“It is this sincerity that has granted you the most precious gift,” Mr. Moon’s gaze turned warm. “However, before you go home, there is one more thing to do.” 0

Mr. Moon pulled a small box from his pocket and opened it to reveal a shimmering star lying quietly inside. It was small and bright, as if freshly plucked from the night sky. 0

“Is this... for me?” Emily asked in surprise as she gently took the box. 0

“No,” Mr. Moon chuckled softly. “This is your own star. Every child who comes to the moon has a star that belongs to them in their heart. Most people forget about it in the busyness of life. You have lit yours with courage and love.” 0

Emily's fingers gently touched the star, and suddenly, she felt a warm pulse, as tender as her grandmother's embrace, filled with love and protection. 0

"Do we have stars too?" Pipi and Lulu asked almost in unison, their eyes brimming with curiosity and anticipation. 0

"Of course," Mr. Moon nodded. "You have lit up your own stars with friendship." As he spoke, he took out two small stars and handed them to Pipi and Lulu. 0

"That's amazing!" The two rabbits cheered and jumped up in excitement, nearly forgetting their composure. "We can use them to light our way home!" 0

At that moment, the distant melody of the moon grew clearer, its tune soft and melodious, like a lullaby—familiar and comforting. 0

"The moon is singing Grandma's song!" Emily exclaimed in delight, her voice filled with excitement. 0

"Yes," Mr. Moon said gently, "because the moon remembers the most beautiful sounds in everyone's heart. Now, it's time to go home." 0

Mr. Moon waved his hand, and a silver light bridge appeared in the air, leading straight to Earth. Emily stood at the beginning of the bridge, looking back at the twinkling lights of her home in the night, warm and bright, calling her back. 0

"Can we come back again?" Emily asked cautiously, a hint of reluctance in her eyes. 0

"As long as you have love and courage in your heart, the door of the moon will always be open for you," Mr. Moon replied with a smile. "But next time, it may be a different kind of encounter." 0

"What do you mean?" Emily asked curiously. 0

Mr. Moon smiled mysteriously, a glimmer of wisdom shining in his eyes. "You will understand soon enough. Remember, true magic has always been within your heart." 0

The moment of farewell had arrived. Pipi and Lulu reluctantly walked over to Emily and gave her a big hug. 0

"I will miss you both," Emily said softly, her voice slightly choked. 0

"We will miss you too," Pipi patted her shoulder. "But don't worry, we will be watching over you in the moonlight." 0

"That's right," Lulu added with a smile, "Whenever you look up at the moon, you might just see us dancing in the moonlight!" 0

Emily couldn't help but laugh, wiping away the tears from the corners of her eyes as she took her first step onto the light bridge. She turned back for one last look: Mr. Moon was still smiling and waving goodbye, while the two rabbits hopped playfully at the edge of the bridge. In the distance, the Moon Palace shimmered in the starlight, beckoning to her. 0

When Emily returned to her room, the dawn light was already breaking outside. She looked up at her bedside table, where her grandmother's photo smiled gently at her. Emily walked over and carefully placed the cake recipe next to the photo so that her grandmother's love could transcend time and always be with her. 0

"Good morning, Grandma," Emily whispered, filled with longing for her grandmother. "I have so many stories to tell you." 0

Outside, the moon gradually faded in the morning light, returning to its gentle path. But Emily knew that whether it was day or night, the moon and her grandmother's love would always protect her. She lowered her gaze to touch the star on her chest, feeling its warm glow. Emily closed her eyes and smiled softly. 0

This was not an ending, but a new beginning. 0

For she finally understood: love, like moonlight, never truly disappears. It simply illuminates our lives in different ways, guiding us forward. 0
