"Go in first; the first level of the game is within this castle," the Suit Old Man said softly.
Though a bit scared, everyone mustered their courage and stepped into the ancient castle. Inside, the space was vast, featuring an Arena surrounded by guards dressed in black. As Jiang Chen and the others entered, the heavy doors of the castle closed behind them, intensifying the oppressive atmosphere.
"Is the first level of this game really to fight in the Arena?" someone whispered upon seeing the Arena in the center.
"It would be great if it were just a fight in the Arena; I've trained in boxing," someone chuckled.
"I'm a coach in Sanda; if it's a fight in the Arena, no one here can beat me," another person boasted with some arrogance.
As they murmured among themselves, suddenly, a large screen on the wall lit up, and the speaker was none other than the Suit Old Man from before.
"Players, let me introduce you to the game rules. Each of you has an invitation card, which serves as your proof of victory. You have already been divided into teams, and the team with the most cards at the end will be declared the winner. The winning team will receive a reward of ten billion Huaxia Coins."
"As for how to obtain more cards, see that Arena? In a moment, you will be paired against each other by drawing lots. Each team will send out one member at a time to compete. If you defeat your opponent within one minute and keep them down, you will earn their card. If both of you are still standing or both fall within that minute, it will be a draw, and neither side will lose any cards."
Upon hearing these rules, those who considered themselves strong began to smile confidently.
