"You have indeed passed my test," the giant's deep voice echoed within the temple. "But do you have the courage to bear the power of the Giant's Blood?" 0

Evan gripped the hilt of his sword tightly. Although he felt a surge of anxiety, he did not falter. "We are ready. No matter what we face, we will accept the consequences." 0

The giant nodded slightly and then extended his hand, pointing to the blue crystal sphere above the altar. Suddenly, the crystal emitted a blinding light that illuminated the entire temple. Evan and Elf had to squint their eyes as the brilliance flooded the space, making the air feel thick and almost as if time itself had paused in that moment. Evan felt as though he could hardly breathe; the light pierced his eyes painfully, yet he did not close them, for he knew this moment was pivotal to their fate. 0

"Approach the altar and touch the crystal," the giant's voice resounded again, filled with an irresistible command. Evan and Elf exchanged a glance, took a deep breath, and stepped forward in unison toward the altar. 0

As they drew closer to the blue crystal sphere, its light grew increasingly intense with each step. Evan's heart raced; he felt as if he were standing at the brink of an erupting volcano, poised to be consumed by immense power at any moment. 0

"We cannot back down," Elf's voice rang out like a resilient chain, binding Evan's resolve tightly. She reached out to touch the surface of the crystal, and in an instant, a surge of powerful energy coursed into her arm, nearly overwhelming her. 0

"Evan, grab hold of me!" Elf screamed as her body began to tremble slightly. Clearly, this energy was too potent for her; where her palm met the crystal, violent currents began to spark, and a terrifying roar echoed as if the very walls of the temple were being torn apart. 0

Evan lunged forward, gripping Elf's wrist tightly in an attempt to pull her away from the crystal's grasp. But its power held her fast like iron chains; he felt himself straining against that overwhelming force. 0

"We must feel it with our hearts rather than simply resist it," Elf suddenly whispered, her gaze deepening as if she were communicating with some invisible force. "The power of Giant's Blood is not merely about overpowering everything; it also holds the wisdom of the Giant Race. We cannot seize it through violence alone." 0

Evan froze as realization dawned on him; his understanding had been too narrow all along. Just like in the cave when they had relied solely on swords and strength to solve problems while overlooking other possible paths. He took a deep breath, closed his eyes, and tried to calm his mind to listen to the voice emanating from the crystal. 0

Gradually, Evan felt his thoughts clear; all distractions faded away. He sensed a warm energy flowing from the crystal, like blood coursing through his veins. It was not a feeling of oppression but rather a connection with nature and life itself. 0

"I understand now," Evan murmured softly as he opened his eyes and looked at Elf. "This is a test of our determination and wisdom, not just our strength." 0

The Elf nodded gently. "Yes, this is the true essence of the Giant Race's legacy. It tests the spirit, not just sheer muscle." 0

Evan reached out again, tenderly touching the crystal ball. This time, it did not resist but instead vibrated softly, gradually emitting a gentle glow. As the light spread, Evan felt the power within him being drawn toward it, becoming increasingly calm and strong. 0

"This is the essence of Giant's Blood," the giant's voice resonated once more, carrying a note of deep approval. "You have passed the final test. Now, you may take the Giant's Blood." 0

Evan and the Elf's hands touched the crystal ball simultaneously, causing its light to suddenly contract into a single large droplet of blue liquid that floated in midair. The surface of the liquid rippled slightly, resembling a lake stirred by the wind. Evan gazed at the droplet in awe; this was their goal—Giant's Blood. 0

As the glow of the crystal ball gradually faded, the giant slowly retreated, disappearing into the shadows of the temple. "You have obtained the Giant's Blood, but remember, true power does not lie in the blood itself, but in how you choose to wield it. May you lead this world toward brightness with the wisdom of the Giant Race." 0

"Thank you," the Elf said, bowing her head in gratitude. Evan also deeply bowed to the vanishing giant, his respect for the Giant Race growing ever stronger. 0

Leaving the Temple 0
With the giant's departure, the tremors of the temple gradually subsided, and silence returned to their surroundings. Evan and the Elf exchanged a glance, silently acknowledging that while the trial for Giant's Blood had concluded, their adventure was just beginning. 0

They carefully collected the droplet of Giant's Blood into a small vial. Holding it in his hand, Evan felt its weight—not just physically, but as a symbol of responsibility and mission. 0

"We did it," Evan smiled, though fatigue lingered on his face; his eyes were filled with determination. 0

"This is just the beginning," the Elf replied with a faint smile. "Next, we must take this power back and fulfill our true mission." 0
